I snapped mine two weeks ago 2020 STR3 so yes they do snap

I think I'll let the warranty sort this one out should there be a problem. I know a couple guys racing 675's and this was a known problem, but I think fitting rear sets that have less slop and harder/more frequent shifts on track caused the issue. Great update though! If you haven't had the RS on track yet make it a priority, the thing is brilliant!

Getting my RS next week, so hyped 🤩 Mind me asking what phone mount you use and how you fitted it in the centre? On my previous street triple the handlebar clamp got in the way for my quadlock mount...

Yea so this is the Quadlock Stem Mount PRO. With the long arm on the mount removed. This allowed me to slip the mount right in and didn't need to undo the bars at all. :)

Have one of these on my rsv4, no longer having problems downshift to neutral from 2nd

I bought new Street Triple RS 2024 a month ago in cosmic yellow, and so far I have done 200 miles. While using the quick shifter to change gears, I often experience a noticeable pull-back effect (like pushing), and the whole process is not smooth at all. This sensation is more noticeable during downshifting, which is considerably less smooth compared to the upshifting process. Also, there are instances when using the quickshifter results in engaging the neutral gear, instead of going to second gear. This type of shifting has occurred on multiple occasions, leading to a somewhat unpredictable riding experience. I'm curious if any other Street Triple RS riders have encountered a similar issue with their quick shifter?

Okay so I've got the racetorx on but hard time getting the screw in for the black piece that you used a flathead screwdriver get off. (I didn't need the flat head). Anyway, did you squeeze the gap a little 1st? As I tighten it down, the gap opens up because I guess the threads aren't lining up. Wondering if you had a problem here?

Thats because on the shifter itself, like the shaft, there is a little indent that the screw sits in, in order to lock the mechanism into place. I dont think you have it in enough, the screw should slide through the right side, and you should see it hit the left

@scottthefloorguy did you have any changes in the quickshifting after install? i now have to blip the throttle closed to upshift, and even crack it to downshift.

I have a Moto2 carbon headlight finisher if you want to buy. It’s clean, about 600 miles on it. I changed it out for the OEM flyscreen.

@@motocorn Year ago I bought cheap version from Asian friends and it didn't fit at all, also there was no rubber bearing at all... Now decided to buy Racetorx and I hope I won't regret my spent money for it, pretty high price for such a simple small thingy thingy.

@@motocorn just got my STR a couple weeks ago. definitely noticed that downshifting with the quick shifter i wind up in neutral instead of first more often that i'd like. could be user error, but i wonder if this has limited that for you at all? (i'm assuming that's what you mean by 'false neutral') never had this on my 2015, but it only quick shifted up.

What make sre your mirrors please.

5:44 can't see a thing. maybe invest twenty or thirty bucks in a headlamp. according to the website, and some comments in forums, this should also help with false neutrals. over time, the looseness of the shifter can cause tiny bits of wear and tear that will eventually cause false neutrals and other problems. so you may not even feel a difference, but it should make the shifter more stable. is it worth 70 bucks?... over time, it could potentially save you tons of money on repairs. if it works, you'll never know. if you don't get one, and something goes wrong that it could have prevented, then you'll kick yourself for not investing such a small sum.
