Blevins made up about 40 positions based off where he was on that first climb where everyone was running. Insane.

I would assume the Stars and Stripes means he’s the National Champion. Strong rider! I miss racing XC. I raced in Alaska in the early 90s; back in prehistoric times. 😆. I just wish they didn’t make XCO so short. Typical WC races in my time were 3+ hours and our races were always 2.5+ up to 3.5 hours and more on occasion. Making long races into XC Marathon, a separate event, was a mistake. But I guess they wanted to make it more video friendly for the Olympics. 🤷🏻♀️

Americans win the XCO and go 1-2 in the U23 XCO. I can't remember a time when the future of American XC looked this promising.

Before the brodcasting changes, they were showing what was going on in every part of the race. We could see a bit of everybody's race and some interesting battles even tough it was not in the leading group. Now we get to watch the same few riders in the front for 1,5 hours. Boring and sad for the racers that we don't get to see 😢
when are they going to get rid of Ric McLaughlin from the commentary box, I dont know a single person who rates him. Constantly talking over the top of Bart and cutting him off and talks crap. I have to watch with the volume off but sucks because Bart actually has good input and would be nice to heat what he has to say

nice bmx race, love the pre made bullshit so called mt. bike course. good luck you'll need it. grow up and ride real mt. bike terrain if you dare!
It's funny when they fall over. I would be temped to push people just to see them fall. How do they fight the urge to shove someone from the top of the hill to make everyone else fall down like dominoes? it looks funny to be that backed and have to stop and push your bike like an old women. I wouldn't get off the bike even if I was last I would just stay behind and my goal would be to never step foot on the ground.
