The UCI Mountain Bike World Series unites mountain bike’s major formats under a single brand for the first time. The new UCI Mountain Bike World Series includes the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup for Cross-country Olympic (XCO), Cross-country Short Track (XCC), Cross-country Marathon (XCM), Downhill (DHI), Enduro (EDR) and E-enduro (E-EDR).

Great commentating! Big improvements in DH and XC. Still buzzing from Elenora’s win in the DH. I’ve been watching her race for a long time. My money is on Risveds and Simon both get Gold at the Olympics.

i was there!!!! just came back it was a nice day even if many were no there due to olympics
Gravity rider here, I actually sat down and watched this yesterday. It’s always impressive. But I felt like sooo much time is lost on the downs. Why don’t they use dropper posts? I get it’s significant weight gain high on the bike but there was so many instances where faster lines could be taken if the seat was down.

They all use dropper posts ! (In the U23 XCO race, I looked specifically at that [I was Marshal on the side of the track], and only one rider didn't have one !)

I don't enjoy watching these new overly technical XC courses. UCI just wants to make more riders crash for the spectators.

Really ? I love them. To me, that's what mountain biking is. The technical courses with a bit of everything. Entertaining to watch and ride. I've been waiting for this type of content.

you already have enduro and downhill for full face helmet and gnarly crashes. stop trying to make XC something it has never been and was never meant to be.

@@TheTrailRabbit but downhill requires a huge hill/mountain which most of us don't have. A small mix of everything to me is XC.
