That was a very impressive win, especially since Remco lost weight to be more fit for the high climbs, but it didn't affect him at all for this TT.

Gana would have loved this course. Congratulations, Evenepoel! Great win.

Wish you guys could show wind direction and speed on your coverage.

Always wonder what Remco could do at this Tour if he manages to escape on a flattish stage. For the mountains, he seems too bulky but it could be close between him and Primoz in the end.

He looked good on this TT, but I think he's still smaller than Pogacar and can't climb as well Pog, Vin or Roglic

Remco seized wheel bearings! So fast that he thought flat … but culprit was in swollen bearings? 🚲🚀

Pogi is going to have to destroy Remco in the mountains... that last TT could be a problem.

He is road world champion, not TT world champion. Hence no rainbow jersey for him in a TT.

@@absolutebeginnerguitarless367 visma also had a LOT of unlucky moments coming in, vingegaard and van aert crashes, now they dont have kuss. They used all their luck last year with the triple win

Visma has had terrible luck this year. It’s not just Jonas but Wout van Aert’s crash and Sepp Kuss getting Covid etc. They put together another strong team but they’ve been decimated in 2024.

Pogacar looks like a xenoporph with that helmet

I have to say I found the tt stage to be really tedious and boring . It was bad enough having to watch the previous day's procession of riders just riding along, not bothering to race and I see it's the same today. I thought this was a bike race?

Come on! Time trial is only stage where we can know how good these cyclists are! Jacques Anquetil rode weak poor hour record 46159 meters in 1957! Long distance runners were better! Kuts run 13:35 5000 meters! Kuts closer 46,8km shape! Franseco Moser build better bike than others and rode weak hour record 51151 meters in 1984! If Moser was a 10000 meter runner the result 27:45 and World record was 27:13! Crazy lunatic cycling broadcasters claiming wrongly that pro cyclists are the toughest and Best! No science facts backs this! Swimmers Long distance runners triathlonits cross country skiers better than pro cyclists!

We live in a grand time. Darth Vader helmets and Batman glasses. I find both of them ugly. I can forgive the Darth Vader helmets as they probably work but those glasses, man. Those glasses. I mean they can have the riders they want, this isn't a national team, uae is just the owner/main sponsor (plus mid-orient countries do not have a tradition/wast usage of bikes so not many get in the sport competitively)

you know what I was much more sure that Pogacar will win before the tour started. whereas Remco to me seems more of a threat with each stage. Pogacar's attack on stage 2 received so much attention because Vindegaard was able to respond. but to me much more impressive was Remco's pursuit that resulted in them finishing together. Remco makes up for the lack of explosivity with controlled pacing again and again. Similarly, on Galibier he could not keep up with Pogacar and Vindegaard, but eventually caught up with the latter. These two instances show that he is no less stronger than Vindegaard and in possible contention with Pogacar. The time trial went as expected pretty much, except for some minor mechanical issues on Remco's bike. that puncture scare was most probably nothing, but you could clearly hear some suspicious sounds from his chain on the few last corners. If not for that, he could have arrived maybe 10 seconds faster, who knows. What I'm trying to say is that his form in the mountains is optimal and time trial form is unmatched. his current form is surprising given his lacklustre performance in Dauphine and his humble attitude (like saying he aims for the podium and not the yellow in today's interview). Pogacar is still the favourite, but as a cycling fan, I can't help but root for anyone who can make the fight close. luckily, Remco has given some reasons supporting my wish
