They are trouble Jim! With the chilly nights our garden is two weeks behind last year, and I am fighting voles, chipmunks, and gofers as we try and save the yellow beans. Raccoons are around each night but so far have not messed with the garden. Many people feed the birds here and that brings in all these trouble makers. Our garden is fenced for deer and rabbits, and there are many rabbits this year. Take care, Ossie

Use Hot Pepper juice. ANY ANIMAL WITH TASTE BUDS WILL NOT EAT SOMETHING SPRAYED WITH HOT PEPPER JUICE. That is a FACT. Get the hottest pepper sauce you can find and spray whatever you want to save. Moles use rubber poisoned worms down their holes. Voles I ain’t no how know what to do with them. Underground fence?

Raccoons are like weeds; if they’re not in our garden, but off in the woods or a in meadow, they are fine. I love raccoons, but if they were still interfering with how I earn my bread, they would have to be removed somehow.
