Rabbits & Foxes || Alpex 4K NightVision || 223 rifle shooting
Ойын-сауық
First serious run with the HikMicro Alpex 4K day/night infra-red scope.
The plan is to spend a couple of hours on the rabbits with the Air rifle and then chase some foxes with the Sako .223 topped with the Thunder TQ50 V2.0
The new 4K boasts an incredible clear HD image and benefits the user with a built in 1000m laser rangefinder plus ballistic calculator. Need ing to know your bullet drop and holdover is quickly becoming a thing of the past.
The property I'm shooting tonight has a variety of terrain from dense patches of trees to open pasture, grazing land and several dams. Plenty of rabbits about and there should be no shortage of young foxes as pupping finished a few months ago. Both of which are an introduced pest in Australia and property owners have a responsibility to manage them.
Please keep in mind that I'm not out hunting for food, this is purely pest control. I am contracted to cull as many of these invasive animals as possible during the course of the evening.
My air rifle setup is an FX Impact M3 chambered in .22 cal, 600mm barrel, Vipertek suppressor and Saber tactical area swiss rail, shooting Cometa 18.13gr pellets @ 900fps. Both rifles are suppressed and I hold the necessary permits for them in NSW.
All of my shooting is done from a Bexin ST424C carbon tripod and Sirui K30X ball head to area swims mount.
Thanks for taking the time out to support the channel and watch the video.
I would greatly appreciate it if you could give it a thumbs up, sunrise to the channel and don't forget to click that bell icon.

That was a lot of rabbits and foxes to have in one area. Those foxes never got the chance to learn to keep away from humans with guns. Great work. Greetings from Central West NSW.
