    I would come across R Kaplan's books on a regular basis, and thought oh he published another one. Just recently some one mentioned he passed away about 40 years ago. I feel like I have some emptiness in my heart. I love R Kaplan. I wish I was a learner like the Gaon. It's true that a person lives on through his books.

    Thank you for posting this. I have his magnificent translation of the Torah which I recommend to all English-speaking Jews and several other books of his. It is such a loss that he was taken from us so soon!

    Thank you so much for posting this. It is so special to see Rabbi Kaplan speak! The question Dr Russel asked about Deuteronomy was brilliant! Dr Barber is very educated and well read. His questions were excellent and I feel that he got out the maximum of this 10 minute interview leaving us with precious moments with Rabbi Kaplan,

    @meyaxshavat That is simply your own psychological projection because knowingly or unknowingly you are clinging to the idea of "God". And whenever the mind becomes identified with any belief system, philosophy, or idea - it is simply an attempt of the ego to nourish itself. Man has always been interested far more in comfort and security rather than coming to the Truth, that is why the moment one takes even a small step out of the boundaries of one's comfort zone, fear immediately surfaces.

    God made Moses or other prophets to do miracles not because they have studied kabalah and misticism,and read thousand books,but because it was nesesary for that perticulare situation,for His name,and it was not in there power but in the power of God,the Holy spirit,wich did all the work.You might be a regular person who doesnt know much but it is nessesary for God and He tells you go ahead and do such and such,and there you go a magic happen.

  • @ShunyaYoga
    @ShunyaYoga14 жыл бұрын

    @meyaxshavat The hypothesis of God is simply not needed for the effectiveness of any magical process. That is simply an idea which has been programmed into you according to a theistic philosophy. No God is needed, neither is it needed that external "entities" of any kind exist , it is a simple cause and effect phenomenon. And just as any science, magic requires an understanding of the basic mechanisms through which the universe functions and how to influence those mechanisms.

  • @ShunyaYoga
    @ShunyaYoga14 жыл бұрын

    @meyaxshavat There are no miracles, everything is a scientific phenomenon. It is simply that because it extends outside of the boundaries of your present knowledge, one thinks that it is a miracle. Thousands of years ago, if you had told somebody that by speaking through a small object you can have a conversation with a person who is perhaps halfway across the planet - they would have said that this is something "magical" or "miraculous" - you must be some kind of prophet.

    It sounds like you are saying that someone who is religious can't also be intelligent. That is beyond absurd. You might not appreciate the contents of the discussion here, but that is not a reason to dismiss him out of hand or to demean his intelligence. Perhaps you would more easily relate to his other works and see his intelligence from there. the only secret for doing a magic is trough the power of God the Holy spirt,even 1000 amulates cant make you do magic if its not by the power of spirit,when fales prophets tried to bring a fire from the sky nothing happen,but Elaijiah caled and there you go..was that becaue he studied the kabalah?it was in the power of God.go study the torah and the prophets and you learn that there is nothing that can conect you to the God only trought the blood of the lam who is Yeshua Hamashiach!!your savior!

  • @meyaxshavat
    @meyaxshavat14 жыл бұрын

    listen man,how clear is that God said do not us any idols,no amulats nothing,how clear is that,but kabala is teaching idols to you,and you saing that kabala is how to comunicate with God?the only way to comunicating with God is by folowing His word,we dont take have and trow the rest of the torah,but you guys pick what you want from kabala and trow away want you think is wrong,but there is 2 choice eaither you folow it eaither you reject it,and there is no such a thing as doing a magic

    Deuteronomy 18:10 There shall not be found with thee any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one that useth divination, one that practiseth augury, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, Deuteronomy 18:11 or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. Deuteronomy 18:12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.

    everything you said didnt shine any light ,it was bunch of wise words,the truth of God is simple even 3 year old kid can understand,ther is no miracle without God,ther is no power in you even you do miracle its because of the Holy Spirit of God that does it trough you,its quit simple,you speak about human ego we already make our mind and dont want to know the truth,but actualy your the ones who concestrated on yourselfs and dont see anything then you,rather looking toward God,its all about Him.

    Jesus was Levite. The Catholic Church honors the Holy Priests and Levites of Israel, of the Bible. The Levite Priests had power on earth to touch the Torah ,touch the Ark of the Covenant, and to Break the Law, offending all the things the Jews could not do to offend. The Levites could make Idols and Images, build up the Temple, tear down the Temple, even slay the Jews at the command of Moses, The Levite High Priest as Messiah ,by enactment of the Levitical Law brings God down into the flesh..

    there is a reason that most of the people that win noble prizes, as well as the national academy of sciences are secular, to hear someone rambling on about the angelic sphere and other nonsense clearly removes him from any genius category...what car, in ur analogy did this man invent? the burden of proof is upon the person espousing genius to prove so...i listen to this idiocy for 5 minutes and conclude he is at best someone who can be talked into this nonsense and relay it to other idiots well
