1970s Israel looked beautiful. It’s was a country completely different from today, not so religious, but much more free and full of life. It didn‘t matter if you were religious or secular, left or right, Ashkenasi or Mizrahi. As long as you carried Israel in your Heart you were a Part of it.

It still is. I imagine the problematic Israel you are describing can be seen in some places like Tel Aviv for example, but I live in Eilat and here we have Religious Jews, Hilonim, Arabs, Bedouins, Haredis, and we all live together in peace. Even if you'll go to a Chabad synagogue you'll see all kinds of Jews from Ashkenazis to Ethiopians praying together.

You made a mistake in the translation when it says השפלה it meant the lowlands in israel not humiliation. Other then that another great kanfei release ❤. Edit : also i noticed the air raid in the beggining is from yom kipur war but i believe the song is about the six day war.

You also got "He did not say Shalom Aleichem" wrong. The lyric is "He only said Shalom Aleichem, we must storm Bethlehem."@@kanfei940

I love this song! (BTW, you got the wrong war the song is about the six days war - Hence the battle of Beit-Lehem, The Santa-Katerina Battle, The Freeing of the Temple Mount - All of these were in 1967. In the begining it was a radio broadcast of the begining of the Yom Kippur war). Anyway, all in all - Very good.

Hebrew is written from right to left, as for any Semitic language would (apart from Ethiopic Semitic languages)
