Audience of this concert is luckiest

I bought possession volume 1, 2 and 3 Zakir and Hari my golden collection then I bought again after some years 3 CD and thought will be with me as long as I will live in mid 90s 3CDs cost me around Re. 1400 that time: I know we find such golden archive freely in internet. That too there are 9 dislike. Good MUST have community guidelines no dislike button for such heavenly creations

Time changes- now buying a CD or a record digitally is much more affordable- Vinyl records were just Luxuries -bought some then too.

Zakir hussain can make the Tabla sing. Those tabla rolls at the end, mind blowing. The duet in the middle has never been played before in that manner and style. Wonder who is leading who. Hariprasadji, as usual, takes us into a world of joy n stillness.

The best rendition of Raga hansadhwani there ever could be. The notes and range displayed by both artists is divinity of first order.

No words to explain my joy and peace while listening this adorable piece of Hansdwani. Simply great......

Hamsadhwani is one of my favourite raags and this is probably the best rendition I have heard, and I have heard quite a few.

Simply out of this world, elevates to a level where mind, body and soul are in unison with the almighty Creator…!!!

THIS THIS THIS is why nothing can compare to the land, culture and the people of Hind !!!

The greatness of the raag lies above all

❤️❤️What else can be more divine and universal than this sound of music! 🙏🙏🙏 Koti koti Pranam to legendary Panditaji and Ustad.

How melody and rythm are combined just make me believe in the lightness of the divine!

His beautiful rendition has no match, very appealing which makes me emotional as it touches my heart

this one is from the OSHO commune in 1983 ... Renditions not next to the gods but 'from' the gods themselves !!! Divinity experienced !!

Too good. It’s also a very popular Carnatic composition Vatapi. If it is referenced and cataloged as Vatapi there will be a lot more fans for this excellent Pandit + Ustad rare piece. For Hindustani music fans if you like this just search for Vatapi - every prominent Carnatic music guru has done the raag just like this

Does anyone know when this was performed? I went to Syracuse University in Upstate NY in the 1980s, and one of my friends had organized a concert by Pandit Chaurasia and Ustad Zakir Hussain. They played Hamsadhwani, and it sounds a lot like this performance

I guess it is created on the basis of hansa character but unfortunately it no way related to hansa elements, only when it comes to drut it resembles to the style of hansas eat country cells (oyster) . Please explain if there is someone who knows this. I am unaware but inquisitive

I attended one of zakir Hussain's concerts once.. The joy you feel when he plays especially nailing the sum part, literally makes me feel like I can float in the air! And then I need to let that feeling out and I burst out!
