The Rapid Pass is a smart card automated fare collection system used on participating public transit systems in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. Rapid Pass card readers were implemented on a trial basis in 2017. Full implementation began in January 2018 and it was rolled out across rapid transit stations, railway stations, bus stops and terminals, and transit vehicles on many different transit systems.
The Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) system in Dhaka, Bangladesh aims to ease traffic congestion and provide a faster, more convenient mode of public transportation in the capital. The MRT connects key areas of Dhaka through an elevated and underground rail network.

১.ভাইয়া ব্রাঞ্চ থেকে Rapid pass নেওয়ার সময় কি কোনো ফর্ম পূরণ করা লাগে? আর কার্ডের সাথে কোনো কিছু দেয় কি?(কভার বা কোনো ডুকুমেন্টস) ২. এম আর টি এবং Rapid দুইটাই নিলে কোনো সমস্যা হবে কি না?

জ্বী ফর্ম পূরণ করতে হয় না কোন সমস্যা নেই।
প্রশ্ন: ১.কার্ড হারিয়ে গেলে কি হবে? ২. একটা কার্ড দিয়ে এক সাথে দুজন ভ্রমন বা দুজনের ভাড়া দেওয়া যাবে কি না? ৩.একটা NID দিয়ে একাধিক কার্ড নেওয়া যাবে কি?

ভুল তথ্য!!!! সঠিক হলো MRT Pass এও ব্যাবহার করা যাবে ৩০০ টাকা ব্লক থাকবে ২০০ টাকা রেপিড পাস এও ব্লক থাকবে ২০০ টাকা

Please delete this video and upload the corrected one. MRT card and Rapid pass card both provide 10% discount on fare and both card block money is 200, not 300. Moreover, recharge of MRT Card is much easier than Rapid pass. All the metro station provides MRT pass card only. Uttara and Agargaon Metro stations doesn't issue Rapid pass card. Only limited DBBL branch issue Rapid pass card and Metro stations doesn't recharge Rapid pass card. So, considering availability and recharge option, MRT card is the only choice.

I have recharged my Rapid Pass 2 times in last 2 weeks from Motijheel metro station. I think you need to revisit your info a little bit.

@@anindyabanik9323 , I travel from Agargaon to Uttara only. I dont have any idea about Motijheel station. My point was that MRT can be recharged from any station, but for Rapid pass, we have to go to some specific station.
