Assalamu aleikum wa rahmatuLlahi wa barakatuh. How did u memorize meaning of the Quran - did u learn arabic or u memorized ayah by ayah with translation? - i have problem in this - i can memorize arabic but I don't know the meaning and i lose interest because to learn arabic takes long time and memorizing without understanding - kind of useless because Quran was sent down so we UNDERSTAND IT AND IMPLEMENT IT IN OUR LIVES. pls advice me - shall i memorize word by word or the the whole meaning in translation? Djazakum Allah khairan

It is good to do both but learning the English translation first if it is easier will help with connecting words of Arabic together while reciting and understanding them. However, learning Arabic will greatly help with understanding and learning the Qur'aan so do that as well.
"زرتم "not ذرتم
I have a question: Is our salah invalidated if we mix up the hard and soft "Ra" letter in recitation?

@@carerforever2118That has nothing to do with it, ra is how you pronounce the letter ر in the Arabic alfabet. Just like you pronounce ‘W’ as double u in the English language.
Ra is Ra.
