Thanks for covering this masterpiece. That's, I'd argue, perfect game.

FWIW, the rules say that the first action is not random. The player with the highest value tile goes first in each epoch, even at the beginning of the game. Granted, a tiny detail, and it worked out exactly the right way at the start of the game. Then Shrey caught it.

I noticed they randomized the first player at the start of the game. Edward won it, but to be correct the person with the highest number in each era always starts the round.

In the beginning you say the one who calls RA, can pass if everyone else pass. But in the end of the teach you say that the person has to bid something 😅😵‍💫 and you play like you said in the beginning. I never played it, but many people like it so I had to watch what it's all about, and I understand, looks kinda cool. And thanks for the play!

Yeah, think you're confusing if someone calls Ra with if the advance tile comes out 👍

The thing I envy from this production is the player mats. I'd love to have something equivalent for my old Uberplay copy

I agree with the opinon of the designer Morgan Dontanville: "This game was all about the rate of diminishing return. When I first tried it I was so enamored with the system that I wanted to immediately go back to it to try to grog out how the whole thing worked. Over time though I found that the game was made on lucky breaks. You can try to stem the tide, but often you are going to get what you get. Yes you can push your luck too far and create more valuable lots for others, and yes knowing when to time your bids is very important, but nothing is as important as getting the big run at the end of the round. It's a kooky probability puzzle, that just ends up seeming more and more random the more I play it. That said screaming "Ra! Ra! Ra!" is still fun (which is why this gets a 4). I'd like this game more if you just screamed "Ra!" at people".

What happened to the discussion? So short! It’s a key part of why some of us tune in. Otherwise a good show.

We had streamed Ra previously so we didn’t really add much to it, hence not much of one this stream. But noted for going forward!

@@Heavycardboard Understood, many thanks. I do like the way you have segmented the streams onto learn, play & discuss.
