Audi Sport's first ever REAR Wheel car! 1 of Only 999 in the world, it follows the Original Audi R8, which was the best kind of motoring product, the disruptive kind.
Debuted by non-other than Avenger Tony Stark, out of nowhere, Audi showed the world a Sports car could be as desirable and exciting as a Supercar, and look arguably better than the bulls and horses! But now Audi have done something disruptive again, but to their own Quattro history: They’ve built a rear wheel drive sports car. And spoiler: it’s rather good!
In this review we explore whether the removal of the Quattro system has a detrimental effect to the car, will the slightly weaker engine reduce the fun, and much more:

Remove Before Race this is unique shifting from awd to rwd is insignificant in lowering weight and making it driver focused

Very deep insight at 8:22, these are the high tide days for the super car, especially the gas only kind (paraphrasing here.). Great commentary. I had to stop the video in the middle after that to give this the thumbs up. Ok, back to this amazing car and video.

Prefer this generation R8 above the latest, OPF filtered version. An integral part of any super car is the sound, it just needs to scream in the upper RPM range, and make pops and bangs when letting of.... Another epic review, the historical background info you put into making these videos is unparalleled on YTand truly appreciated by us petrol heads. Keep it going brother

This or an AMG GTs? Great review as always. Audi have done a great job with the price point. It appears that on this occasion less is more, but for us mere mortals Quattro still makes more sense (yeah like I could afford one, but would love to drive one)

Leather steering wheel > alcantara steering wheel. Alcantara becomes a rag after few sweaty trips.
How would it be a sleeper just because it's rwd?
Great review as always - slightly unrelated : not sure how many American fans follow Raz, but for those of us who were pro basketball fans back in the 90s, the opening music you use (John Tesh composed it) - was used for the opening for the NBA on NBC - so always brings a smile to my face. :)

Hi I noticed that that the exhaust button and track button on the steering wheel in r8 plus were missing in RWS, does this mean RWS doesn’t have the same exhaust system as plus, neither the track mode?

First? 😄 R8 is originally a rwd, it was built for gt racing which is always rwd. How ignorant can someone be 🤦♂️

Audi alredy have competitor for GT3 rs or AMG GTr and it's Audi R8 performance parts.

Best channel on KZread, but I'll take Mercedes-AMG GT anyday or whatever competes with the Audi R8. MERCEDES-BENZ runs in my blood since my birth. The Best Or Nothing!
