If you don't mind a bit of critic, you should spend more time talking and showing the assembly of the diverter valve and maybe not speed up through that important information. You have a great presence and are quite articulate.

You should do a driving impressions post installation.

I had it torn apart to build the air intake. I plan to do a drive soon with the GoPro next to the intake. Get as much of the noises as possible.

A diverter valve recirculates the boost. A blow off valve dumps the boost to atmosphere.

Yes. You can also get a diverter valve that does both.

I fitted one to my N14 JCW, and had to remove on the same day. As soon as I started driving, it threw a code and went into limp! I took it off and lubed it up again, then reinstalled and it just happened again. My Mini just doesn’t like it. Waste of time and money for me, so back to stock

Weird, mine has loved it. Maybe it’s something specific to the JCW?

Will this installation interfere w the removal of the oli filter? Also will this work on Manual tansmission?

No interference at all and yes it works with manual and auto.

with the installation of this valve does not present error in the dashboard of the car?i have a cooper s N18, 2011 184hp.Thanks.

No error lights. It only replaces the original weak diaphragm. All of the original electronics are retained. The car doesn’t even know it’s there.

Is your mini in tune? T9352 Is this diverter valve can be used in R56 N18 engines?

It is not tuned yet. No tune needed to run the DV+, it retains the stock electronics. I think it’s the same for the N18.
