Your video saved me thank you! I used isopropyl alcohol to clean up the contacts cause I had a hard time with the nail file. Worked like a charm

Hi Matthew, when I had this issue, it was close to when the battery was also no good. The car starts up as normal, lights come on, petrol pump primes etc, but on the final turn for the starter motor you got nothing. It was a bit intermittent for a very short time and I did need a new battery so thought that was the issue. Changed the battery and then had the same issue days later! Did some research and found this to be the issue. Has worked fine ever since!

@@themklyfe9283 yes, very similar to what I had. I thought the issue was the battery as it was quite old, but this then happened with the new battery. Glad you found the issue and are now back on the road with no issues!

My mini just clicks once no start...is this starter motor or this ignition switch problem? Any advice greatly welcomed..

This issue is when you get no sound at all. Have you had anything done on the car recently?

Things to consider, some you may have already checked: Battery voltage at battery and then at the post under the bonnet Check engine earth on far side of engine on the engine mount. Check alternator is ok Check vibration dampener is still good

Fixed mini....wrong shape starter but he took bushes out of good one...back on road to no where...

i have this ploblem no crank but fuel pump is working
