This is vicous diff, it uses normal gearbox oil. As for the engine, most people use thicker oil for RB, I use 10w50 for 3 years in mine no problems. For colder cilmates, like the one You live in, 5w40 for stock engine should be a sweet spot.

It's been a long time since Castrol made good oils. I wouldn't put that oil in my cars and they are crapppy next to your R34. Ravenol, Motul, even Liqui Moly are far better options for your car. Just pick the right viscosity. Also, I know autodoc have sponsored your video, but I have a bit of a bad experience with them. I've been buying parts from them for the better part of 3years and they try to replace the high end brands of parts that I ordered with far cheaper versions without changing the price or offering something on top as compensation.

nah its good when its recommended and labeled by types, atleast its not a no-namer, i use Shell Helix on all cars

Super Nice car! If i had that car i will put on a electric fan :) i dont like the old fanblade original fan, i allways do that in my bmw cars cuz one time that type of fan explod for me 😅

from the looks of it looks like a non turbo gearbox in the car (FS5-W71C) box id be careful with that with a turbo neo 25, id try get my hands on new 34 GTT box while nissan still has stock.

It’s good oil for daily driving in cold climate area but I think it’s not the best choise for old turbo engine when it’s already +30 celsius outside and planning to use all the power that engine makes continuously. I would go with 5w40 or 5w50 if planning to do trackdays.

hahahha, va det ein så glemmte ut at han hadde høyrestyrt bil i vasken? xD Å det me tectylen så eg ser ein kommentere, e bare good, ikkje noe skummelt me det :) Huske eg sa det te han og at han burde understells behandla før det kom rust, ting ruste jo så sykt fort her i norge. Blir moro og se videre på denna bilen, fortsette du sånn så detta vil eg tro du sitte på ein bil som kun vil øka i verdi :D

I'm happy there is no rust underneath, but man why didn't you check for rust when you bought the car? It's especially important when it's a valuable car like this. Were you blinded by the fact that you were able to afford it?

He didnt do anything wrong. The oils used were just fine, pretty much to what the manufacturer would recommend. And in the end, as long as there's oil, it's all good. Marketing these days and fake info on the web simply has distracted most from what oil is supposed to do. It's just oil goddamnit :D
