My r1 fork seals have started leaking again!! So hopefully will try this quick fix with the seal mate tool by motion pro, it worked last time so hopefully it works again.
Жүктеу.....

Thanks for the video. The fix is somewhat easy, the hard part is knowing if you still have enough oil in the fork if you didn't notice the leak soon enough.

Great video bud! I know it's 2 years old but i just found it. It helped me because other videos don't show what happens after the cleaning. Also it did help me not putting dust seals back. I thought if after the first set of pumping they get contaminated with oil then it might not be fork oil coming through fork seal but dust seal leaving residue. Got a perfect seal after 2 sets of pumping. Thanks again!

Good temporary fix , but that oil xx per leg is important . You need between 390-420 per leg and to bleed the inner cartridges . Thanks for sharing the video . It’s a good little tool that 🤘

be wary that those shocks hold a certain amount of shock oil in each one... and there's about a 2.5-3mm tolerance before it detrimentally affects the suspension! the more it leaks, the less the shock dampening... meaning the front end of the bike will just bounce like a pogo stick! make sure to know and understand the fluid levels of the shocks on your bike and check the levels after using this thing!

Just got my bike apart, it leaked so bad it left a legit large oil spot, and is at a solid 150-165 Milliliters low on fluid..... and while was a BIT harsher....it sure aint no pogo stick.

You should wipe it every time you finsh your sets of 10 pumps, your still seeing residual oil from the seal cleaning. Use a clean side of microfiber towel every time

You guys are so cheap! Buy new seals, remove forks and remove/replace. Not a difficult jog at all !! New oil while your at it. To press the new seals back in use a 34 or 36mm 1/2Drv socket and tap them in with a hammer. No need for fancy seal drivers. Monkeys can do it, super easy.....
