r/Prorevenge They Took My Dog, So I Took Their Kids

Комедия

r/Prorevenge In today's episode, OP lives next to the neighbor from hell. The trashy mom and her spoiled kids basically try to steal everything they can from OP's family: toys, food, even electricity! They literally run an extension cord from OP's house to theirs so they can enjoy a free electric bill. The trashy family finally takes things too far when they kidnap OP's family dog, so OP goes full John Wick and has CPS take the woman's kids away. Never mess with another person's dog!

So long as animals are treated as "property" pounds cant just sell them, they have to get info on who gave them the pet and let the pet wait a certain amount of time before readoption process. I don't even mean that as an insult, it's just that some people have a pathological need to be always on friendly terms with everyone else and never, ever start fights over anything. 2:40 I know how this feels. Rented a nice super cheap unit in a block of units for about 6 years. It was 4 units in a single building. My first neighbors was a three person family that all smoked pot. So there was a constant smell coming from the other side of my wall. One of their sons was also complicit in a break in of my house, which I only found out about it after they moved out to a bigger house. The next one was worse. After he got his power cut off (cause he spent his money on pot instead of bills) he jacked into my side of the power. The units were basically mirrored, so if you took off a power wall socket, you'd see the other unit's connections. He jacked in this way and for about 6 months I lived with double my usual power bill. This was when I was using 'pay-as-you-go' which was essentially a credit system instead of a quarterly bill. This stopped (for a little while) when one of his ex friends ratted him out. Being the nice and sometimes doormat that I am, I let him continue to use it if he paid for half the bill and repaid me the 300 he owed me, instead of reporting him to the police. However for the next 2 years I only got 50 out of him from what he owed. About 6 months into this arrangement he decided he'd cut the connection as he 'couldn't afford it. My bill went back to normal for 2 fortnights before shooting back up. I asked if he jacked into my power but he said no and even showed me where he originally jacked in, showing no equipment. So sadly, without any proof, I couldn't report him. Eventually I moved out but ne never paid the 250 he owed me.

I had the same issue with the dog problem. My neighbor came to take my labrador because he liked her. He has been trying to take her for his own for years. My dad saw it, came out with a shotgun, and pulled the trigger point-blank at the base of his spine. He tried to press charges but lost because the judge saw this as self-defense. God damn the shit-eating grin I had on as we left the courtroom. He is sitting on his porch right now in his permanent wheelchair as I'm typing this right now.

  • @jjcymbolic

Luckily, all my siblings are well aware that I don't get gifts for kids, and when I do, it is because I stumbled upon something and was like, "Hey, they'd like that, and it's close to Christmas." All of my nieces and nephews are aware of it too, they don't expect anything from me.... but I'm still one of their favorite aunts. I don't talk to them in a baby voice (like my in laws do) and I treat them as equals. I include them in activities I'm doing and I take them on adventures. Honestly, I think they'd rather have the experience than a toy they'll play with for a month and get sick of.

You should include the titles so we can know if the story is one we’ll want to hear or skip. Just bc by the time you get into the story and we hear what it’s about , some people can already be beyond triggered. I like listening to these stories but unfortunately a lot of topics covered are very triggering to me. I of course never say anything about it, and just skip the story. But on this channel that’s hard to do without titles letting you know what you’re in for. Just a suggestion ! I don’t expect to be catered to personally of course but just bc the other Reddit channels I listen to include the title, i didn’t think it was too out there of a suggestion & figured I’d try🙂

Try having a neighbor who has "rocking parties" from 8pm to 8am. I was too nice and decided to wait until the second time. Same schtick the next week. I called my landlord, who told me that I should just go upstairs and tell them to be quiet. Thankfully, I convinced her to ask them to lower the noise (my ceiling was literally shaking) and their parties are noticeably quieter. Thankfully I'm a heavy sleeper, but that first party was too much. I'm moving in the spring for unrelated reasons.
