Wow !! this reminds me of my childhood memories where my Granny use to make shrikhand at home, she use to tie white cloth on back side of small table( upside down) and use to sieve dahi on that and that smooth texture of shrikhand with mango cubes in it😋😋 it was so healthy and tasty . I am sure I can't make it like her with the latest tools available in my kitchen..after all Granny s love was also there in that sweet shrikhand more sweeter than sugar 👍🏻 Thanks cooking Shookings 🙏

Hey it's almost same recipe my grandfather used to make , he was best cook during his this wordly times, he wasn't Halwai by profession but by choice and used to take order for 'barat' and other big function in village, he had good insight of cooking techniques. Only changes in this recipe I doing are 1. Cook mango puree in nonstick for a while just to evaporate some water so mango taste become intense.it gives smell of store brought Shrikand 2. Use of extra pistachio with small pieces of mango, mangoes and pistachio goes really well. Do try this way too

@@durgeshyadav8425 in the name of vegan, companies are selling chemical milks saying it's rice milk etc.... Cows should be cared and such tortures need to stop but that does not mean we will fall into Mac's trap of fooling people by selling chemicals in the name of milk. There z not replacement for cow's milk what we can do as sensible consumers is tat we can ask for rules to be made where cruelty is not done to cows to get their milk for human consumption..

@@31dg there is no possible way to feed self child that is calf and 775.8 crores people or even lets consider India alone its 138 crores people what chemical you are talking about you should file the complaint if its harmful for consumption or if you don't want to buy you can search for it recipes on KZread or internet and by coconut almond you can make milk for tea and all. Fun fact is there is some amount of puss cells present in milk

Wow...👍 There are more maharatrian recipes which you could make .. my mother in law makes awesome sakhar Poli ( sugar stuffed roti ) it tastes awesome .. very thin but filling inside .. in Karnataka there's one more sweet called Mandagi in Marathi we call Maandey.. then sanjachi Poli (rava sheera stuffed roti made with sugar/jaggery) Pithlyacha vadya etc plz explore more regional recipes ☺️

Thanks so much for this effort. This is indeed the original traditional recipe and I do it the same way(,I am from Gujarat). Just that I use Electric whisk instead of palm to get the texture. It came out very well- smooth as silk and shiny. I made mango and Elaichi jaiphal flavours 👍 I would like to specifically appreciate the fact that you DO NOT deliberately over simplify some complex processes in cooking certain dishes. Great Cooking is painstaking, and the effort yields great results. Thank you 🙏

milking a cow means killing the cow? so at first if you have to milk the cow means that cow should have given birth. Do u think there is any day you face short of milk short of water u may saw but short of milk, cheese, ghee, paneer, sweets, cream, butter icecreams so how u get this things everyday, for breeding the cow they tie their legs and neck make them pregnant forcefully or other method is artificial insemination where the farmer have to insert his hand inside cow for injecting the semen he do till he confirm she will know pregnant. Yes if its happen in human case everybody wants to kill those persons but in cow case?
