RIP Nicky Byrne Snr. Such an inspiration and Nicky is lucky to have had him in his life. So much respect for Nicky singing at the funeral, could never have been easy, inspiring!!

Life is so short. RIP . Such a sad video, seeing that young man's pain was heart-breaking. I don't know how I got here but it is a very emotional video!

I am so sorry for your loss. I loved seeing him with the other guy's dad when they sang on the TV show as a surprise to Westlife.

My dad passed away June 16 2011 and this year, Father's day is on that date.. it'll be a tearful day for us.. I can feel his pain, it's not always easy to have a person so close to you go away in a blink of an eye..

When I said it get easier, I actually meant that we have had to learn to deal with the fact we will never see or speak to them again and we learn to have to carry on without them x

I lost both my mum & Dad just 15 month's apart a while back now 2004 my dad then 2005 my mum hardly a day Will go by where I don't think of them but we can all see how well Nicky was brought up by his lovely dad (& mum) xx

so sorry about Nick's dad so heart breaking....... made tears run out of my eyes we lost our mom in 2005 so i know how he is feeling..sending my prayers to family and friends
