Taking food is a biggest problem during and after RT. I had undergone RT for 33 days and devised my own methods for food intake. Besides oral gargles, antiseptic and anesthetic gel application before food , always take good quantity of fluids. Take Khicdi and cold water added to it. Take tea mixed with glucose biscuits in cold form. Take fresh juice of mosambi. Take sugar free icecreams. Take scrambled egg with slight salt. Oral sores are part and parcel of RT, Doctor must tell their patient beforehand and advise taking food properly and hyginically prepared. I had suffered a lot for few days owing to not informed by my Doctor and was on Life saving drugs. Any way I am now recivering very fast. I was diognosed with Mucoepidermoid Cr of Anterior part of tongue and histopathology report said it was of low grade to intermediate grade of malignancy.
