There is very little difference between real and synthetic diamonds. The only reason synthetic diamonds are undervalued and real diamonds are so expensive is because of the debeers group. Debeers was a mining company that ruled the diamond market for almost a century. This allowed them to single handedly manipulate the market to artificially inflate the value of diamonds through artificial scarcity. They were also responsible for coming up with the concept of diamond engagement rings and played a major role in convincing people that synthetic diamonds were cheap and worthless.

The funniest part is that synthetic diamonds tend to have fewer impurities. You can’t actually tell for sure if a diamond is mined or synthetic, but the man made ones tend to be more pure.

I have an immune system too. That didn't stop me from getting my brother sick in February with a cold. Nor did it stop me from possibly getting food poisoning last week and having a nasty fever that lasted a few days right before I was supposed to leave for a trip. Nor did it stop me at 12/13 from getting untreated pneumonia to the point of developping fluids in my lungs. Okay maybe my immune system is wack but when I was sick a week ago I was shocked I felt alive and didn't die on the couch. I felt so good I left for the trip still sick and I didn't look sick at all and ended up recovering the day after.

Ok I served in the Navy. This, of course, means that I survived boot camp as provided by said military branch. I can tell you right now, that getting through boot camp does not make you more alpha. Boot camp is the most powerful indoctrination method that the federal government has to control people. Don't get me wrong, I am proud of what I did, and that I survived it. I just am equally confident of how brainwashed I was when I left boot camp. It is an extremely effective method of assuring that you will obey any order subsequently given. I can't explain how they do it. I just know that they do. Saying that military treatment would make you an "alpha" male, which is the stupidest expression currently known to man anyway, is dumbassery.

What's ironic is these "Alphas" won't even join the military, where they will get the same kind of treatment, except they actually get paid to go through it. Geez. I’m extremely allergic to curry,chilli and pepper. So bad that I rarely eat in restaurants. One of my husbands friends invites us over for a bbq. Isn't white plastic like... just the basic color and it's lighter and/or easier to make? Kind of how most airplanes are painted white most of the time because it's the "lightest" color, adding a bunch of pigments to it actually increasing the weight in such large scales? I can't say for robot parts... but I work in a food-container factory and like 90% of our molded product (sour cream and Cool Whip and yogurt containers/lids) are white because: 1. It's the cheapest colorant 2. We need a colorant of some kind to help block light that would allow bacteria and mold to grow 3. It's easiest to print the designs onto. When I worked in a shampoo factory, similar logic was why we bought "Titanium Oxide and Mica" at a number of 'mulch-sized' bags that required a pallet... but the total amount of, say, FD&C Yellow dye on-hand could fit in the cup I'm currently sipping juice out of. ---- And in the factory, they drain out all the previous colorant before adding the next colorant... so it's not adding any substantial weight. BUT it does still add to the price, and not by a small amount.

That's generally how it's done in America too, but some houses will leave the bucket out because it makes it easier for them, they don't want to greet the trick or treaters, or some other reason. It's also a generally known faux pas to empty an unattended bucket that was clearly full, likely because it's still early in the night.

It's meant to be a sign of distress, like for example a school was taken hostage and they sent some kids out to raise the flags to not raise suspension. The kids put the American flag upside down and was able to signal for help It's really important if you work at a public building to not raise it upside down or a squad if SWAT might pull up. I actually put the flag up probably hundreds of times in high school and I'm very glad I managed to never make that mistake.

It varies per woman and child just like menstral cramps, plus the fact that for many women the body makes you forget the pain due to the trauma. Sometimes tail bones break, blood loss severe enough to be lethal (almost my mom and she refused a blood transfusion because this was during the AIDS crisis and people were getting AIDS from transfusions), the woman is too narrow, baby too big, birth is too late, etc. Way too many factors to gauge properly and not enough studies done.

@@MakeSureYouCleanUp I can see that. And I understand her hesitation about the transfusion - I remember Ryan White. Even though I know it’s been rectified, I recently came to in the hospital with a transfusion going, there wasn’t a slight hint of nervousness.

Looking at the sun without an eclipse causes eye damage as well. The eclipse is short, and the times before and after the eclipse will still cause eye damage.

9:25: IIRC, UgoLord did a video on something like this. If the sign clearly says "TAKE ONE", and you empty the bowl, even if it was left outside, that can be considered theft, and is actually illegal. By having the "TAKE ONE" sign, you establish a contract of sorts, a condition to the offer of candy, and going against that breaks the terms of said arrangement.

Idk why that bukkake one activated some memory of mine like a sleeper agent, and i remembered that MY MOTHER used to say that like it meant BS too. All the time. I didn't find out the word meaning until later in life and by then I had forgotten how she would say it all the time. Why do so many gen-x parents think bukkake means that??
