The uno boss is actually quite interesting. He had lost so many times, and with each loss he gained more power. But this was because he knew all along that winning wasn't the answer. Something no one ever thought of. And now, with his many losses, he can do more than win, he can reset the universe in his own image. Even if you do manage to beat him, that only delays the inevitable as he comes back with even more power as a secret final boss in the next game. See, if you manage to do the quick time event right and shout uno on his last card you get a secret code on the underside of his last card left behind. It's in Brail though- (of course every secret code has to be in brail in games. Ugh.) -that unlocks a chest in a hidden area of the next game. You might not understand it at first, but if you have the Darkside uno revenge card when you defeat him as a secret boss, your character takes it out and banishes the uno boss to the shadow realm.

i'm LOVING the implication that coconut mall is somehow a boss. not something in it, the mall itself.

Personally I find Lord of Armaments pretty easy, not many people know, but if you parry a full combo from him during phase 1 (which is difficult as he speeds up after every parry) he will be stunned for about 3 seconds, and will instantly be sent to phase 2 with a single attack, so you can skip the hardest phase almost instantly with a few well timed parries

@@arandomgamer9317 For more experienced players it’s probably a lot easier, but for new players it’s one of the most challenging fights in the game. Even I myself had a ton of trouble with him on my first play through, but like I said before if you are more experienced with the game or you know the strategy his fight becomes a lot more easy.

Ideas for boss mechanics and cutscenes (not finished) 0:00 This boss appears in a room with a collection of uno cards, which it throws at the player. You must deflect these cards with your sword and shield. Occasionally, a reverse card (looks like a normal card, but glowing) will be thrown in. If you deflect a reverse card, the player will take damage. After enough cards are thrown, the boss will take time to refill his cards, the player can attack the boss during that time. Phase 2: The boss will throw down a pile of cards, and drag the player down. The two characters will be in a void filled with giant uno cards. A timer will appear, and the player will need to jump over to the most useful card. Depending on the card the player is standing on, the boss will take more damage. Cards will shuffle, and the player must repeat this until the boss takes enough damage. Final phase: The boss will trap the player in a cage made of cards. The walls will start to close in, and the player must charge up a powerful jump. While the player is in the air, the boss will fire cards, which the player must deflect back at the boss. When the cards are deflected, the boss will take damage. The player will fall back in the cage, and the walls will close in again The player must keep jumping and deflecting, until the boss is slain

0:25 (Cutscene) The hero is exhausted from the previous battle, and sits on a rock. After pulling out a lunch box, the rock sniffs at the food, but loses interest. The hero cuts their hand on the lunch box, and the rock smells the blood. The rock reveals itself to be a shark, as it jumps from the ground. Phase 1: It swims around in the dirt, hoping that it can eat the player. At times, it will swallow too much dirt. When that happens, it will cough up mud, and try to hit the player. It will recoil from coughing up the mud, leaving itself vulnerable to be attacked. (Cutscene) The hero realizes that slashing at a giant rock isn't productive. They must think of another plan. Phase 2: The hero must find parts to make a decoy that resembles themselves. The parts are guarded by forest monsters, who pose a threat. (Cutscene) The player throws the decoy in front of a large tree, and waits for the shark to notice. The shark crashes into the tree, and the tree falls over. The player celebrates their plan succeeding, but the shark survived the tree falling. As the hero panics, the shark notices them and the hero is swallowed whole. Final phase: The player must search around for parts of a broken jackhammer, while inside the shark's stomach. Rocks will frequently fall, and the player must shield in time. A timer will show up on screen, to signify the amount of time, until the stage floods with stomach acid. After the jackhammer is repaired, the player will make their way to the mouth of the shark, and use the jackhammer. The shark will be killed, and the hero will win

As people start panicking, the statue begins to swing its arms, in an attempt to kill people Phase 1: This boss is in the background, and cannot be directly hit. It will attempt to crush and slap the hero, which the hero can avoid. At times, it will roll up a ball of asphalt, to catch the hero in. If the hero is rolled into the asphalt, they must button mash before the boss crushes them. The destroyed asphalt will leave behind boulders that the hero can throw at the boss. (Cutscene) The boss manages to slap the hero, and catch them off guard. While the hero is on the ground, the boss picks them up, and drags them inside the statue. Phase 2: The player will be struggling as they are dragged down. Lots of dangerous electric components will stick out towards the player. The player must slash up as many as possible, because after a certain amount of time, the player will be dragged into a pool of acid, at the bottom of the stage. The screen will start to glow green whenever the player is getting to close to the acid. (Cutscene) In response to its machinery being destroyed, the statue will self destruct. After being launched onto the surface, the hero will find themselves in a crumbling building. The hero will run out of the building, only to turn around and see the statue's disembodied hand chasing after them. Final phase: As the building collapses, debris will fall, and can either harm, or slow the player down. If the player is slowed down to much, the statue hand will catch and kill the player. When the player is near the exit, a wall will fall, and the player must slide underneath it. The statue hand isn't as lucky, and gets crushed by the collapsing wall and debris.

I got ideas for what they drop:Ultimate Reverse Card Can be used to switch HP with the opponent, cannot be used during a bossfight, single use. Magico Rocco Can be thrown at enemys to deal all damage leaving one HP, cannot be used during bosses, 3 time use, Glory Kills cannot be done when you have used this item. Super-Computer Can translate any NPC's language, deals Passive damage from light mode, Passive damage can be used on bosses. Ultra-Computer (dropped from the droid mech) Like the Super-Computer but can be used to blast a laser dealing 3976 dmg, laser can be changed out of battle.

But it’s relatively weak to Fire Element Abilities, so you should be fine if you have one. 0:50 Four Fisted Fiendish Tyrant: 7500 HP Status: Medium Description: He does take a while to beat, but he’s stuck in place, leaving him wide open for you to attack him. But his arms can reach long distances, so stand your ground. 1:15 The One Who Thinks They Will Burn: 3400 HP Status: Insane Description: This bossfight is actually different to others, this anarchist clones itself, then goes around the island causing chaos, so now you have to run around and search every corner just to find these guys. 1:40 Nebula War Machine: 25000 HP Status: Hard-Insane Description: His body shape makes him extremely powerful on Physical tactics. The Lightsaber is great for Physical, and the Portal Gun can close in pretty quickly the Master Chief Helmet also makes for pretty good defense. 3:20 Spidified Rusher and His Tamer: 10500 HP Status: Hard Description: His Tamer will actually be helping you defeat the boss! That being because that boss is actually his friend corrupted by a spider. This beast is actually Immortal to your weapons, but is beatable by the Tamers Antidotes, he makes one every 30 seconds, all you have to do is aim it right and hit him. In the mean time, just dodge the bosses attacks. after doing this four times, he will be cured and sent back to his normal self. 3:45 Pastry Tyrant: 60000 HP Status: Crazy Description: This is another bossfight where you can’t attack the boss, all you can do is dodge. After exactly 1981 seconds, Donkey Kong will come in and beat the shit out of Pastry Tyrant. 4:10 Shopkeeper: N/A HP Status: Unkown Description: What are you doing!? This is the Shopkeeper! Go fight someone else! 5:00 Msacras: 16000 HP Status: Hard Description: this is a wielder of the Msacras staff, there are 2 more but this one seems to be the weakest. This boss is more based on Magic attacks (Long Ranged). Though this means they are absolute garbage at Defense and Physical. So they try to keep their distance. (This site is garbage and won’t let me write the shrek bossfight)

Everyone here missed the point, the boss Koloktos from Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword looks exactly like that thing and the UI in the corners is clearly from Zelda, it wasn't just that I thought the song was better. It just would have fit better than literally any other song.

So I came up with backstories for these characters,I’ll write the rest in a few more days. Uno Boss:The Cards,needing a god to worship,found an innocent traveler and decided to sacrifice him in order to make him their new god. He managed to escape,and found Unos,god of Uno Cards. He gave the traveler special armor that gave him special powers and now he is worshiped by the cards as a god Stone Shark:After his parents were killed by a shark,Joseph was left alone in a dense forest. Just as he was about to lose hope,he met Rockoplet,the ruler of the rocks. He showed Joseph the Stone Citizens,stone statues carved with a heart of goodness that came to life. Intrigued,Joseph started sculpting his own sculptures. But when he carved a sculpture of a shark,it triggered some memories that made Joseph sad. But that sadness quickly turned into anger as the shark came to life. A statue sculpted out of a heart of vengeance is destined to be evil. Rockoplet put a spell on the shark that forbid it to leave the forest. So it’s still in the forest ever since

I feel like every single one of these bosses could work in the Earthbound/Mother series

8:45 The Amalgamated Horror (Secret Boss) Location: it can be found while exploring the cursed apartments area, if you manage to find the secret door in the basement and then defeat T.H.O.M.A.S (1:17) protecting the final entrance to this secret boss you will be able to access it, however i do not recommend doing so until you have beat the final boss for whatever path you are taking that playthrough. The Battle: In the first phase it has 1 million hp however every 30 seconds it will take 100,000 damage ( this is related to the lore, where it is said it feels nothing but constant pain) , your weapons (even in the late game) will barely even scratch it so i recommend trying to just dodge it's attacks which include lunging at you where if it hits it will deal 450 damage (just side dodge) Molten Beam where it uses a laser made from its own molten parts, if it hits you will have a massive speed debuff, lose abbility to dodge roll and take fire damage, and the third attack that it will only use if you get close, in which it grabs you and gives you tons of debuffs (damage, speed, armour durabilty and Etc) and deals 150 damage every second you are grabbed (you can escape by either waiting for it to take the 100,000 damage or by mashing spacebar). The second phase is reached when it reaches 0hp, you will get a cutscene of it shrieking and melting down entirely, and having the ceiling of the arena collapse on it, after this it will absorb the concrete of the rocks that fell from the ceiling. The cutscene will end and phase 2 begins. it restores from melting entirely yet can barely keep it's shape and concrete blocks are now in the amalgamation. the 100,000 damage every second modifier on it is removed. it now only has 20,000 hp but if you hit the concrete rocks you will not deal damage. it attacks are the following: Rock throw, it rips a rock out of itself and throws it at you, dealing 300 damage, An attack where it will jump at you and try to land on you, if you do not dodge you will take 750 damage and if you by some miracle survive you will take a massive speed debuff, get the "crippled" debuff (-50% speed and you take +50% damage) and will take 50 damage every 2 seconds for the next 10 seconds (total 250 damage). it has all the attacks from the previous phase. the best way to damage it is melee, just watch out for the grab every so often. Phase 3 is reached once it has less than 25% of health left. it will activate a cutscene where it falls to the ground and stops moving, it will make an attempt to get up yet fail, losing the shape of a teletubby entirely and becoming a blob of wires, rocks and the odd red plastic-esque substance. here the fight will begin and you cannot damage it, and it doesn't move. eventually the player will move to the door to leave the fight but then the amalgamation will jump at you from behind triggering a quick time event sequence where you have to keep it from killing you, once you succeed the final phase begins. it gains three more attacks, one where it splits in half, launching one half towards you, this one is easy to dodge, however on hit it will insta kill, no matter how much armour or HP you have. the second attack where it spreads across the floor rapidly and you must jump over it, or you will take 450 damage and a speed debuff, and the last attack where it launches out tiny projectiles, which can be blocked, but deal tons of damage to your shield, but only deal 25 damage to you. it keeps all preavious attacks. if you attempt to slash it with your sword you will automaticcaly be grabbed so only use long range weapons. it has 30,000 hp in this phase. Defeating it: once phase 3 was defeated it will shriek one last time before the floor collapses and it falls into what seems to be a bottomless pit. you will get a small sample of it and the metal face which functions as a very high durability shield. if you hand in the sample to the swamp wizard he will give you the lore of this boss and 15 unique arrows that deal massive debuffs to anything they hit (after you use up the 15 arrows it is impossible to get any more). Lore: it was created by a mad wizard who made attempts to bind souls to metal to create a weapon to defeat his worst enemy, Don the Gunslinger (8:21). in his attempts he kidnapped and murdered animals, people and etc. eventually he manged to succeed, using the soul of a teletubby, however it felt nothing but constant pain being bound to metal. realising what he has done he locked it away and created T.H.O.M.A.S (1:17) to keep it from ever escaping, after that he ran of into the swamps becoming the swamp wizard.
