People, just to clarify because VPN companies treat their product like it's ironclad stealth vibranium mithril armor: VPNs act essentially a website your computar acessess to mask your online activity. But packets of data from your PC need to reach it first! Every single threat that could reach you before your info reaches their website is still 100% no doubt in jeopardy. Don't get sucked into the marketing, they send these premade texts to influencers like r/slash that likely do not know any better

True that this the most common form of sexual harassment, but it's not the only form of sexual harassment. Not all men are monsters and not all woman are angels. There's even people who used this sexist assumption to get famous men canceled. I just wish that women being the harasser and men being the victim is seen just as serious as the other way around because no matter the form, it's still sexual harassment.

The fact that Mary went so POSTAL after being rejected, she's never had to face that before and it challenged her perceived image of herself being the perfect woman. I sense that if any of her exes tried to get away from her, she went full psycho and it'd be worse since there'd be a relationship there. OP gets husband of the year award! I legitimately have a friend who is more successful than her brother, but because she's Trans, she's the devil to them. Her brother has put his mother through a wall [yes, by throwing/pushing her]. He has stolen a car, tried to hit his sister with said car, and even once [and i still don't know why] took every roll of TP in the house to wipe his butt on, without unraveling the rolls ... and once those were all dirty used the curtains and stuff. But the one time he ever got put in jail and sobbed his eyes out? His parents bailed him out and comforted him all day. And every time his sister has threatened to call the cops on his illegal behavior, they're like NO YOU'LL RUIN HIS FUTURE! .. he's literally an adult now and his future is already ruined... I keep telling her, as soon as she can, she needs to go No Contact [she lives on her own but she does still have to rely on them from time to time] - and next time her brother screws up IMMEDIATELY call the cops, don't tell her parents. And it's weird to see how common this is. I'm slowly learning my partner is in the same boat [though to be fair his brother isn't the "Golden child" - his parents are just afraid of the guy but I digress] -- and I've been seeing these stories more and more and more and ... I'm really starting to think that a lot of the Boomers are toxic narcissists who had kids out of expectation rather than desire since I've been seeing this more in Gen X and Millennials than in other generations - Gotta be all that lead poisoning ...

@@Crow_Smith someone should do a study. is it possible that a golden child will raise a golden child? is it a generational thing or is it common throughout all time and we just noticed it? is it a result of narcissism, being forced by society to have kids when you didn't want to, or some other cause? i wanna know these things.

@@abiean222 I imagine it's highly possible, that and I think those who were the scapegoat child can also do it unintentionally if they don't get therapy. Same with abuse victims becoming abusers themselves because they don't realize the cycle. But if the Golden Child becomes a Narcissist I imagine that yeah, if they have kids at all, they probably do raise their own Golden Kids and Scapegoats. Whoever falls in line is Golden, whoever doesn't [even if it's super minor like they do but have one out of line interest] is the Scapegoat. Here is hoping, though, with seeing this commentary more and more, we'll see more stories like the one where the GC didn't realize what he was until recounting a story and people pointed out he was a GC and when he looked into it he realized not only did that explain why his entire adulthood SUCKED [he had no people skills, and while his parents still treated him well, he couldn't keep a job, couldn't adult, etc etc] but it also explained why his sibling [SC] disappeared entirely. He went full NC with his parents, got into therapy and reached out to the SC sibling to apologize. I wish I remembered more of the story but it was nice to see a Golden Child who went "Oh f-" and is doing what they can to break free of their toxicity to be a better person - and to hopefully make amends with their sibling.

First Story: I remember this story and how insane OP's now ex husband and his family were. So this man tried to unalive his wife...over mustard?! I’m glad OP is ok and is away from this psycho Second Story: Honestly, it sounds like Frank didn’t want to retire from the start. It seems like isolation for him was so bad that he would rather continue to come to his old job than retire. Lmao I didn’t expect this at all. I mean, I was right about Frank wanting more work but I didn’t expect him and OP's aunt to get together Comment: I agree Third Story: Obviously the only problem here is Mary. She knows exactly what she is doing and knows that she is constantly hurting her sister. OP and Jenna need to go 100% no contact with Jenna and anyone who defends her disgusting behavior. I think Mary is doing this as a way to tell she is better than her sister and is overall trying to show dominance. Of course the parents play favorites 🙄. These people are disgusting and now OP and Jenna should cut contact with mom and dad as well. Mary is an envious and selfish woman. She is absolutely toxic and needs to be avoided at all cost. OP should’ve pressed charges for SA because thats exactly what she did; OP should also report her for harassment. Yeah, Mary is absolutely insane and toxic. I find it funny that Jenna's mom said "leave Mary alone" when Mary is the one harassing OP and trying to get him fired. I honestly would’ve went through with the lawsuit and the report

Rather the husband displayed a pattern of serious control issues, manipulation and gaslighting that just came to an extreme head during the "mustard argument" where he actually started to threaten her well being both in words and actions. The rest of that story is a real doozy, with him becoming more dangerous and unhinged less control he has over op and the less his manipulation works. So yeah, long story short it's not really about the mustard.

I hope OP is safe, but I've seen stories on actual true crime TV networks about INSANE exes following them all the way across the whole country, breaking into their house, and unaliving them. They had tried so hard to get away, but the psycho somehow managed to find them (probably stalking family to get a general idea of where they might be and then paying an information broker, or paying an unscrupulous PI to do that for them, but I can't remember the details). I really hope OP gets a weapon, a good alarm system, and a big trained dog if possible. I'm not big on weapons myself, especially not firearms, but sometimes they are a necessary evil, and a crazy ex that tried to kill you is definitely one of those times no matter how safe you think you are from them.

Imo that guy should pursue the lawsuit against his sister in law. She crossed too many lines. Hurt his wife, assaulted him and tried to take his job. She needs to face consequences. If he doesn't she'll believe she can talk her way out of trouble forever, and this will probably happen again. Plus if he does a lawsuit it will create a paper trail if she tries something again in the future after she's had time to scheme something worse.

I have an aunt who Jenna reminds me of a little bit. Thankfully her self esteem isn’t in the dumps like poor Jenna. My aunt was adopted (which is a whole movie-worthy story in itself!) and though her parents have always been awesome and loved and supported her, she is their only child and they didn’t have the extended family like we have while she’s growing up. She divorced her first husband when she found out he was off with another woman while she was literally giving birth to their son. She married my uncle like 8 years later. She has always been amazed by our family’s closeness, even with the imperfections. We would have big get together a for every holiday and play games, the kids would have Easter egg hunts, we do fun Christmas gift exchanges, and it’s so much fun. My aunt was so amazed at how quickly we just pulled her right into the family and loved her. She got her PhD a few years ago, and now we all brag about her being Dr. Young. My uncle even got a tattoo in her honor once she got it. She’s the family genius!

Story 3: aaaaaah. Nothing screams toxic more than alil narcissism. OP's wife is definitely is the scapegoat child of the family. I think before OP came into her life, everyone around her let her down and made her feel less than so bravo to OP for stick by and reassuring that she isn't the problem. Now the sister and parents definitely show signs of narcissistic behavior. Down playing her accomplishments, obvious favoritism, and the sister always trying to steal her man. The sister's unhinged responses go right up that alley aswell because she was rejected and that "no body ever rejects me" mentality will cause someone like her to try and "come out on top" in a sense. OP and his wife needs to stay far away from that family.

Keeping the peace is only waiting to argue later. Nothing good comes from it except making the later argument so much worse. Call someone out immediately they will be dumbfounded, wait for the 3rd time and they will get angry.

Gotta be honest. That question you had at the end of the last story was DEFINITELY floating around in my head. Her sister really needs to face some real consequences for her actions. It's clear her parents have been sheltering her from the results of her actions for her whole life. They also clearly need to face the consequences of their actions.

I think the topic of OP being SAed was downplayed FAR too much. He gets sexually harassed for YEARS, then ASSAULTED and has to put aside his own feelings for his wife because she’s jealous??? Now she’s getting help, but is he??? If you switched the genders, everyone would be saying “throw the man away! His wife gets assaulted and he’s upset only because he’s jealous??? His brother is a predator!”

she’s mentally ill, not jealous. there’s enough backstory on her side that spells that out clearly. we can acknowledge that the man went through a lot without simultaneously putting down the woman. i do hope he gets therapy or support, he genuinely deserves it.

I'm still recovering from her saying she was just doing what the both wanted. Extremely bold to assume someone wants you especially in this day and age.

I gotta say, I watched THIS video after I watched the episode of choosing/beggers where the OP's were begging people on like FB and stuff for "weed bath" money, as rSlash called it, and honestly that video made me loose ALL hope in humanity, but THIS video HAS RESTORED IT!! I have faith once again that there ARE still good people out there! lol

Op: he came to visit, I invited him to lunch, Gave him my aunts number for volunteer work, he started there and is now my uncle. Coworkers:... Whaaaa......?!

I’m agreeing with everyone with the last story “THE BEST HUSBAND REWARD GOES TO YOU” That husband did everything he could do and I would still press charges on sister because she TRIED TO GET YOU FIRED!? Idc you told her to stop she didn’t until you threatened legal actions! Still do it no matter what please

Story 1: It's never just the mustard, there's always more behind the scene. It's about controlling another being. Story 2: That's actually super cute

So the last story, it's a good thing op went to their boss previously about the harassment. They then have a documented paper trail through the boss so op was a lot more creditable when he said he didn't send that.

As someone who's sister was the golden child to my mum and dad I can understand why ops wife has ptsd, also may sounds like my sisters clone, i disowned my sister after she none stop bullying me, she had various personality disorders and never got help for them, I think may has some too by how far she went over rejection
