In this stellar episode with former R&AW Chief Vikram Sood, he talks about the evolution of RAW from the intelligence bureau, the gathering of information on adversaries, the 1962 Chinese invasion, and the 1965 Pakistani invasion. It was a true pleasure to host him on AJIO Presents The Ranveer Show.
We also discuss the formation of RAW, its success in the 1971 war with Pakistan over Bangladesh, and its intelligence operations in Bangladesh.
The conversation also touches on the misconception of RAW by the public, and how RAW only deals with external threats. Hope you enjoy this one.

This is like a ASMR podcast. You can tell this man is trained in making people feel that a lot of information is being given to them while not actually giving anything at all. The pace at which he talks isn't too slow, but is slow enough to make us feel that this is a proper length podcast while if you take a wordcount of how many words were spoken by him, it would be a lot less than the other guest that come and speak for the same amount of time. Also the ability to force a tangent in a conversation in a direction he wants it to move while not even intending to do so is epic.

You heard of Joe Rogan? Maybe in India, sure, but in the world, this kid has no influence and he seems very slow due to his indoctrination with propaganda he is being fed. I guess no one noticed when he said "we will talk about whatever that be shared on INDIAN internet" so definitely the internet is sensored in India. Only shows that they can't or never will really have the whole truth. Nothing is inspiring about talking about stuff leaked on Wiki leaks years ago. India is just getting this news? Basically india will never know about their political issues if censored till maybe 50 years from now? Just like this guy came to "expose" the secrets that was stories of 40 years ago.

Grateful to listen to Vikram Sood sir on this podcast. As a fan of spy-thriller, it made me wonder how spycraft works 👏🏻
One of the best episode of the TRS, Abhijit Chavda , major Gaurav Arya, And now Vikarm Sood sir, you are doing a Fantastic job. Keep growing, keep doing the job
Sood's point about narratives is totally on point. Indians must have a deeper and wider understanding of their own narratives, and more importantly, the skill and confidence to communicate and project these narratives to those who are ignorant, or worse, peddlers of propaganda. Never underestimate the power of narratives.
Ranveer, i loved the way you handled the conversation. It was tactful not to go overboard with the inquisitive questions. I know you held yourself back to make sure the guest was comfortable. And i think he loved you for it and paid you lovely compliments and an invite as well in the end. How sweet !!

I m always intrigued by undercovers, espionage stories, happy that the real person is infront. So proud of them. All my regards for the RAW officer. wonderful video Ranveer
Vikram sood sir ……because of your sacrifices we the public are safe and we respect you at the epitome of heart ❤️. Ranveer as usual best podcaster ❤️
Excellent episodes one after another… 👏👏 Salute to both of you 🫡🫡 Thank you so much Dear Ranveer 🙏🙏🙏
the poadcast is so good . i get to know so many things from the vikram sood sir and as well as from you;... i love the way you are talking to ,your gestures and adding certain kind of laughter in the middle for making the conversation more intresting .. about your performance its wonderfull like all time . thank you for the very very wonderfull show
Wonderful dialogue. I was also observing Vikrambhai's body language. His locked fingers showed his internal stress in giving an proper reply. In future episodes with our security personnel, the cameraman should attempt to avoid showing such body language. For me the Nation comes First and i have to suppress my own urges to know all. Thank you Ranvir for another gr8 podcast. 🙏
I don't know why...although it was visible that you were struggling to get the conversation running...but that struggle of you and still trying, it felt really good..cheers!
Thank you very much Mr. VIKRAM SOOD. Our heartly blessings to you and your family ❤
Excellent natural conversational style interview! Enjoyed watching this and your other interviews. Keep up the great work, Ranveer!

@@BeerBicepsas you are in public limelight ,hope you don’t get honeytrapped by the anti-India elements which might use ur social media platform to spread their anti-Hindu narrative.❤
This is fantastic,, vikram sood sir very cool and thanks ranveer for saluting him,, After your salute i aslo realised many things 🎉❤
Excellent podcast offering a lot of insight and wisdom on how to deal with situations and interpret narratives forced upon us. The podcast started slow unlike some guests who can instantly captivate you and I thought it would be boring but as I listened my interest grew and I found it absorbing and gratifying. Ranveer asked good questions and follow-up questions and expanded on points and the casual section helped the guest to be at ease.
