Rav Schachter Shlit”a never said Echad is unique among the gods, Chas v’Shalom! He was quoting his rebbe, Rav Soloveichik tz”l, that echad, doesn’t represent monotheism, which already existed, but the uniqueness of Hashem. And as a consequence, we are בצלם אלוקים and all humans are unique.

@@zogyechiin the kabbalah world is there a belief whatever u do good or bad is approved by God if your a Jew? Wouldnt that interfere with justice?

@@brucerisen9825on three things the world stands, on justice on truth and on peace. When dealing with justice you can still know the truth.... And so on... Torah is justice, Kabbalah is the truth, sometimes they assist each other sometimes they need to be separate, like oil and water...

@@zogyechiFor me torah is truth. Kabbalah has practical mystical applications but it is mixed with so much speculation, and hidden definitions that it can make judgment to gray to call. I would hope judgement would rely strictly on the clear torah standard and not some hard to define texts. Ever since Moshe Rabainu, this "Rebbe" talk is mainstream Judaism, my friend tell me a Jewish community and I will tell you their "Rebbe" (leaders). Perhaps Ashkenazim come from Korach and the Meraglim.... Otherwise...
