This little duck is a member of the dog pack and sees no difference between him and his dog brothers. Rescued after being dumped by his previous owner Elway immediately bonded to his chosen family. He takes his role in the pack very seriously and goes on walks on a leash. All in all a very happy family!

Love this. All the "surprise" nature provides, the adaptability and improvisational capacity of various species. As far as Elway is concerned, this is just one, fun, "gaggle." So we learn from Elway - just flow with it. Always lessons.

I had three roosters named Otis, Oskar and Oreo and they were like dogs. I wish the three of them were still alive, I miss how they annoyed our cats... it was a beautiful friendship between chickens or roosters and cats... We saved our roosters from slaughter and I am grateful for every single second with them
I’m getting a bit tired of people saying their animal thinks it’s another species. It is far more likely the duck thinks he’s himself and the dogs are a flock of ducks.

People show up and you yell "STOUT" and a chihuahua shows up. Classic.
Try again.... I watch animal videos for at least an hour every day for the last few years, especially cat videos. But this duck who thinks he's a dog is in the top ten! So cute and so unusual.

People have an IDEA , and this applies 2x more for domesticated birds , that THEY all just live Willy nilly in the outdoors...this is untrue they live in a small area LIKE a property in a HOUSE at one location....Thus, this duck being cared for from a duckling in a HOUSE not with a dog with a pack of 7 or 8 dogs picked or saw them as his flock......he was not bought up with A dog.
