    Rampage is awesome. He is one of my all time heroes, and someone I idolize. I sent him, a message to his official facebook page, pretty much telling him my life story, and how I was depressed, and confused in life, and didn't know what to do, to get my life going in the right direction. And he actually messaged me back, with some great advice. Made me feel a lot better.

    +Jason Hancock well he worked on his stand up a lot more once he came over to the UFC.... notice how his slams just became obsolete? Rampage was still champion, so he was still a beast... but I think what happened to him was he just wasn't as hungry because of the money. Rampage was motivated by money.... look at the Chuck fight in Pride... his song was "im all about the money"... lmao..... once he became a millionaire, I think partying took more of a front seat than training... not too mention he was a lot older.... a mere dinosaur in the sport.... he seemed like he was only motivated to train 100 percent for certain fights.... this is all just my opinion people so don't get your panties in a twist....

  • @petrikoukkula9066

    @petrikoukkula9066

    8 жыл бұрын

    +WanderleiSilva29 I don't think that was the case with Liddell.. If not all, most of his lost at end of his career was because he didn't have the chin anymore. He started fights well, was hitting more and scoring points, but then he got one punch to the face and he was done. Same thing happened to Wanderlei. There is only so much you can get hit to the head before you just can't take it anymore. At least that's how I see it.

  • @WanderleiSilva29

    @WanderleiSilva29

    8 жыл бұрын

    +Petri Koukkula one punch to the face and he is done? Dude.. the guy had and still has one of the strongest chins in mma.... the only one to ever knock him out was wanderlei... and it took him like 5 knees to the face to do it. That last knee that connected would have knocked out anyone as well..... none of the heavy hitters could ko rampage... and hes won his last 4 straight. Hes definitely not washed up.... he just doesn't train as hard now that hes loaded. Now Wanderlei is a completely different story.... all the years of bare knuckle fighting and real unconscious knockouts weakened his chin big time.... you have an argument with that one, but not rampage.

  • @hangassan

    @hangassan

    8 жыл бұрын

    +Petri Koukkula Damage is done to and absorbed by the neck...once you have been knocked out bad, you probably have suffered some neck trauma, which never completely heals...and I totally agree with your assessment, particularly in regards to Chuck Lidell...his chin just wasn't there...usually the first thing to go on t a fighter is heir legs, ie, the way to get out of harm's way...then the punches start accumulating...and at that point in their career, they become opponents...sad, but that is the way it goes...

  • @hangassan

    I agree very much with josh barnett. I do not think they come to "bore the crowd" tho lol. I think they are athletes with a game plan to win the competition. a real fighter comes to finish the fight. I fight and I never worry about points or the plan, I try to finish whoever they put in front of me. I respect my opponents but I trained to fight and thats what I came to do. I think thats getting harder to find nowadays.
