The fact that a black man got the publishing rights to the Beetles is amazing even if they believe it was stolen from them. This is what white men in America had been doing to black people/people of color for years so if he brought it than it is not stolen, which I can say the same for all the white men who brought thousands of black musicians publishing Prince included who appeared to be very bright intellectually.

7:02 Ebro research before you speak. MJ was in lengthy negotiations for that ATV catalog which eventually became Sony Music Catalog. He bought it fairly. The then owner of the catalog offered paul the catalog days before opening it for bids. PAUL said "I refuse to by my own music back". That's his narrow thinking. Yoko wanted to buy it but couldn't afford to. So Michael bought it and he gave several artists their publishing back including Little Richard. Why give the music back to Paul when Paul didn't see the value in owning it. Smdh you peopel kill me. Quincy lied a great deal on things related to Michael Jackson. He's a disloyal hypocritical pervert.

It's not hard to believe that Michael stole songs but Quincy collected those producer checks with no problems. And you can't tell me Quincy wasn't pissed at Michael for deciding to work with other producers. As a fan I was pissed so I know Q was. Remember The Time is one of my favorite MJ songs, a Teddy Riley production.

The thing is, Quincy saying all these things, he's on a different level, he's got a whole different frame of reference from us "everyday" people. When he talks about the Beatles, it's coming from a guy who's had a close working with relationship with people like Charlie Parker, Charles Mingus. When he talks about Marilyn, he's someone who's run with Ava Gardner, Dorothy Dandridge, Grace Kelly. It's just all on a different level. Of course he's gonna have a different view and has seen these people in a totally different light.

Research tells that after Paul told MJ about catalogs, MJ had his lawyer seek out some to buy. The ATV/Beatles cat. came available and Team MJ checked with Paul but , (1)he didn't want to "pay" for his own music. Then (2) Paul asked Yoko to split the cost and she said no. So Paul's lawyer told Team MJ, Paul turned down the offer a second time. SO, MJ told his lawyer to buy the ATV Catalog since Paul didn't want to buy it for himself. PAUL DID HIS OWNSELF WRONG-THEN GOT SALTY AT MJ. When Yoko Ono discovered that MJ bought the catalog, she was 'thrilled' that MJ got it because she thought he was the best person to own it. It's true~~

Summers song wasn't released until 1982....Quincy produced both of them...MJ didn't steal anything and Quincy's stort doesn't add up.

He lived an incredible life and there's no reason for him to start making things up at 85. He's at an age where he doesn't need to keep all this stuff a secret. He's not as worried about dieing. Michael Jackson actually did background vocals on state of independance in the recording session with Quincy Jones and Bruce Swedien. Thats MJs team. Strange for Quincy to state certain ideas were stolen if they all worked together on the song. Also as far as I know, Billie Jean got released earlier.

His story makes no sense nor does it add up.....Quincy is on record praising MJ for his genius and songwriting abilities so to claim he stole anything is absurd.

I agree that Quincy had a personal issue w Michael. Michael had been living under the thumbs of his whole family. Quincy interpreted Mj kindness and meekness as weakness. Michael knew he was the celebrity. Quincy was not a celebrity. He worked for some fabulous celebrities. He helped the celebrities change music. That was Quincy’s gift. He had an ear like none other. The Holland brothers explained how Quincy started pushing Michael hard about Billie Jean not being in the album. The Holland bros talked about how Michael wrote the song and how Mj went to the head of Epic Record’s and had the work stopped on Thriller until he got the Billie Jean video made. Which he paid for himself. He saw how Quincy was acting like the money grabbers. That’s when Michael cut ties emotionally and mentally w Quincy. If you listen to enough ppl who worked w Mj you can hear the racist talk. Especially from white rockers here and in England. So many musicians were jealous of Michael because he sucked the air out of the room. Just ask yourself how many of the trollers can stage like Michael. He was so talented in so many areas he hid a lot from ppl. Quincy still doesn’t know about the shots of a hormone he took to make it through a tour. He had a genetic disease w his lungs. That was an Immune disease just like Vitiligo was. Quincy wanted more control. Michael played it dumb to keep the peace. Quincy isn’t as smart as Michael. Neither is McCartney. Both him and Yoko were offered the ATV catalogue. They had a fight about the price and passed on the buy. That’s when Michael bought it. Paul has been lying about that forever. And he’s so stupid he keeps saying he thought Michael was going to GIVE it to him. Michael had a financial advisor who was a part of the NAACP who bought music catalogs for Michael long before he even got involved w Epic Record’s. Mj said he should have never left those advisors. But the vulchers were after his money. Family. Everyone who worked w him knew everything he touched turned to gold. Lots and lots of jealous people and Mj had not one person he trusted. Really heartbreaking to hear such trash talk about Michael.
