I was thinking to do some pot jolders as well. I love placemats as I get to play around with different designs and colours and patterns and can complete them relatively quick.

I love the big windows in your studio! It must be so nice to have a room to yourself to enjoy your crafts away from the kiddos. We will definitely be checking out the website!

It is so nice to have a place where I can spread out and do my thing and not have to feel it has to all be put away before dinner. I also think that having the studio up and running makes me more productive because there are always projects within easy access to work on. Thanks so much for looking at the website. Send us your thoughts as we are always looking for ways to improve things. ~Steph

My Mom used to quilt all the time and donated them to a shelter for people. With her eyesight going away, she isn't doing it any more. We will check out your store. Have a great holiday season! Cheers!

Hey guys! Happy holidays. Quilting is something I learned with my grandmother, along with canning and all my old-fashioned hobbies, to be honest. Every time I quilt, it.remi ds me of her... especially since I sew on her 40 year old sewing machine, lol.

I would LOVE to buy your wool ❤ a fun idea would be adding the name of the sheep to the skein 😊

We have thought about this. And tagging the mittens with a picture of the sheep that provided the wool.

I enjoy quilting, too. The first project I started was about 31 years ago. I love the order ... I guess since it's mathematical, it makes sense to me. I've not done a whole lot over the years, but am looking forward to starting another project soon; a local, small town quilting shop in going out of business (boooo!!!!) so my daughter and I went the other day to get a few things. We'll go one more time just before it closes. My next project will be another log cabin quilt 😊 I made a king-size log cabin in 2004 and really liked it. I gave that one to my daughter, so now I'm doing one for me. Anyway... have fun! ❤ Joanne in SW MO

Thank you for watching Joanne. Going out of business is not a good thing, but hopefully, you were able to find some great deals. I love the log cabin pattern. I bought a quilt as you go book for one and I am hoping to try it this winter.

I have been quilting since I was 9 with my grandmother. She loved patchwork, and I used to love the hours spent piecing it all together just right. Never thought that I would still be doing it 35 years later.

I haven't had time to quilt in 2 years. I moved into our homestead end of August and I completed one and have 2 more started. Of course one of the items lost in the move my entire fabric collection

Oh that sucks about the fabric loss, it is hard to start building that up all over again. Homestead life does not always allow time for quilting, that is for sure. This year, I have done more quilting then I have in years.

I’m a knitter and a spinner. Would you consider selling fleece in your shop?

I am thinking about that as well, i am just not sure how steep the shipping will be. I am thinking I could vaccuum seal it, which would make a much smaller pavkage. I believe you are not too far from us, so if you would like some, send us an email, and we can sort it out 😀
