Hi Adam great to have you back. Just a suggestion but rather sending out two rigs relatively close together, try on the second rod dropping a bait in the margin next to where you are sat. From your walk around there are some lovely over hanging bushes and trees next to a couple of the swims that look perfect for this approach. You'd be surprised how many carp are close in patrolling the margins right under your feet.

I fished that lake next year and caught a 19lb Carp on a critically balanced pair of underpants, I gave it to these Polish guys who were walking round with a Harpoon but hadn't had much luck.

Great to see you back bankside, cool video, lovely looking lake, may I suggest, perhaps, try stalking, as in bait some spots ,wander round with a float leger, 12mm bait and paste, 3/4oz bomb as weight, just use one of your carp rods, net, unhooking mat, small bag and some bait, 20 mins each swim, just a suggestion, tight lines, good health and safe travels, cheers craig

Glad your feeling better Adam & back fishing. Advice time again... Them solid bags will probably be presented on any bit of that lake bed, so on very short sessions like that just try & get the bags out first time & leave them, definitely no freebies. You located the fish well enough but I feel you probably scared them with multiple casts or at least put them on guard, 2 bags in the area the fish are with good drops & job done, leave all that leading around for longer sessions...

It used to be a great place to fish back in the mid 70s and 80s used to be some nice weed beds in there with plenty of nice Tench and sliver fish and carp but not any more. Fished for some pike there the other day but no luck. Good luck with your fishing trip hope you have some luck 👍🎣🐟🐟🇬🇧

Nice to see you out on the bank side again and getting better after ur illness. I went a couple of weeks ago with my son and his mate for a 48 hrs session and all of drew a blank but that's fishing just getting out is wot it's all about

Still reluctant to use distance sticks to make clipping up easier hmmm.and still reluctant to get a fox rapid system to make solid bags up on the bank.2 simple items to make life so much easier.glad you're over the worst of the covid.👍👍

I have got a distance cord, but need a couple of sticks. Would have been useful to note the distance for next time 👍

Yer will pay off big time esp if you can reframe yourself from fishing it for a few weeks get them confident in feeding

I would make the loop much smaller to reduce potential snagging

Looks a great place to fish. Are you allowed to use a bait boat? There looks to be some very carpy areas under over hanging bushes/trees that you can't cast to.

Don,t u scare the fish that r there away when u cast your unhooked leads out all over the shop,I used to just cast out my baited hook out and see what happens that's the challenge of fishing,take care....
