    Stop giving him advice! He’s brilliant. He only leaves the mistakes in to make the videos more fun. Does not mean he needs advice all the time. 😂 enjoy a man not trying to sell us anything. Absolutely love the helicopter rig description. Best videos on KZread. When are you bringing out T shirts or something Adam?????

    Happy New Year to you and the family fella. 2022 and you've joined the distance sticks club🤭 nice to see the distance cord in use finally lol. Must mention that when you were talking about your bivvy heater. You mentioned about having the door zipped down. Even with tea lights you should always have at least some letterbox to allow airflow. Just to make sure you dont get carbon monoxide or oxygen deficiency. We want you to be catching for the future But great to see you out again for sure and well done on your fish and persistence with the bew rig to you

    Lovely vlog … as far as the amount of gear you take (as you commented😄😄) watch or read some of Oz Holness articles on travelling light . It’s amazing how little you need to fish well and most importantly, stay comfy . I was as guilty of it myself 😉☺️👍tight lines .

    Another good vlog and adventure bonus catches on a method you've not used before . I've stopped using the multitude of bags when going for long session and put my gear into large storage containers instead thay double as tables and store under bedchair . Easier to transport both in vehicle. And on barrow in my opinion.

    If you are concerned about the top bead setup try the korda naked chod system or a tungsten sinker with a tapered bore bead pushed onto it, both will have the desired effect.

    I use the Korda Heli Safe Tubing Kit, have a look at this, also gives the option to discharge the lead if needed, get 2x Rods worth of kit for £10 off ebay... I've used it for a whe now and not 1 tangle at all...

    This is not safe at all the rotary rig needs the lead on so the top bead pulls off dropping the lead is just marketing to sell leads

    Couple tips about distant sticks if the sticks ain't got groves on them slightly stick them in the ground in a angle stops the line slipping off and always measure the sticks with the rod 12ft apart mabie u already know what I said but worth knowing 😊 prefer watching your vids than korda tbh lol keep them coming fella

  • @jimbob71
    @jimbob712 жыл бұрын

    Stick with that system dont use the heli safe because its not safe you need the lead on the rotary/helicopter rig to pull the top off u may also find when you cast your pva stocking bags the weight will actually drag the hooklink up and pop the top bead off and distance sticks are only so ppl can ask how many wraps to your spot thus saving them hardwork of finding one

  • @darrylclarkson1799
    @darrylclarkson17992 жыл бұрын

    Good video but it's not a rig it's a lead set up. And it doesn't spin against the lead on the cast ,it's impossible. I'm very surprised you haven't popped the top bead off on the cast as the weight of the pva bag will be up against that on the cast.

    I just fish the top bead a right down by the lead if I’m fishing a clean bottom, I only use helicopters my leaders pretty much stay on my rods for months and months
