Yes sir. That was pretty amazing trick. Mike’s life had a different way of doing it with a ram rod. Was kinda crazy how he did it to. I can see how both of y’all learned these crazy tricks. I don’t went and bought a kit to make “pretty” ones lol

Have you tried this with conical bullets? Also,for long term storage, you may not want to use lubricated wads, as they could contaminate the powder. What is the diameter of the powder pellets? Do they fit easily into the chambers? Do the caps easily ignite through the twisted paper?

I did a few conical a the same way, long term storage, I’d lube the bullet with bore butter along with bore butter on the end of the chambers, diameter is .454 and they go down into the cylinders pretty smoothly. Caps are # 10 firing from the remington and give you no problems.

@thedefensecoalition ,for long term lube of a paper cartridges I use half and half mutton tallow and beeswax.

I bought this glue stick but forgot I have kids 😂 I feel you. I've bought more unused glue sticks than will ever be necessary.

You can make these for your Howdah.
