Okay so before I start I want to say that I am a huge spektrum fan and have been for the last 10 years I've been in the hobby. With that being said I've had nothing but problems with my dx6r. In the 9 months I've owned it I have replaced the battery twice, I also had to replace the trigger that broke. The opperating system is also very slow and out of date. In my honest opinion using this radio is similar to using the cheepest smarphone that walmart sells. Should have done my research on this before buying. I trusted spektrum and figured it would be a solid radio, but it is far from that. It also crashes atleast once everytime I use it, Also when I click on apps it often says that they dont exist. Ive got several rcs and planned on using the dx6r on all of them, Ive bought around 40 2, 3, and 4 channel recievers to use with the dx6r. Luckily the recievers work with my other spektrum radios, because im about fed up with the dx6r. I really wish it would have worked out well, If it did I would be buying another 50-60 recievers for the rest of my rcs.

Hello Colt, sorry to read this. Do you have the latest firmware installed?

Is there any information when the lap timer will be supported on the DX6R?

I just received mine and im have problem. Dont let me enter the raceware app. I try everything and the only thing says is that this application is only compatible with spektrum DX6R radios. The only i can do is Quit the raceware app. I communicate but no response. Any help?

hola amigos de horizon tengo un problema con una dx6 gen 2 no me quiere blidiar ningun receptor y el logo de spektrum no enciende esto quere decir que hay problema con la RF o el radio tenga algun conflicto con la programacion y no deja reconocer ningun receptor , es posible me puedan ayudar les agradezco. quiero saber si es posible si actualizando el fireware se lograria solucionar el problema gracias.

Does this mean you can get the orange dsm2 compatible receiver from hobbyking and it'll work?

How do I send my control to spektrum service center? I live in Brazil.

What about the timing system? I had to buy a DX5R to use it. I would love to be able to use it with my DX6R. ???????????

I can't get KZread on my DX6R to work. "There was a problem starting up. Check your network connection and system time." Anyone else have this problem?

the battery only allows about 30 minutes of youtube anyway.

They need to do this with the air radios for updates ect.

They could have made this a $100 radio with a spot to attach your own phone to it. We're basically paying for an expensive (crappy) android phone.

why is it that a cell phone with 4amp battery lasts 8 hours while watching HD videos with audio but the dx6r dies in 60 minutes?

Love this radio but can’t afford it.

android seems abit overkill ;)

let's just open raceware....60 seconds later. the download took forever because they used a wifi module from the very first smart phone. make sure you stay within 15 feet of your router.
