Quick Tip #3 - Visually remove a Tree Stump in 5 Minutes

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

How to visually remove a tree stump quickly with a shovel and a chainsaw. Small to medium size trees can be done in 5 minutes or less.
I have property with hundreds of trees. This method has saved me time and money. I have been doing this for years. This method puts the stump below the ground surface which can then be backfilled with a little dirt. Over time, you can add a little more dirt if the ground starts to sink in where the stump decomposes. This may not work in your situation, but for me, it's fantastic!

I've done this with a couple of palm trees that were in my backyard positioned like goal posts. Same technique just added extra top soil to make a mound and threw some turf on top. After about 6 months, the ground eventually levelled out with healthy grass already established like it was never there.

You are doing nothing more than burying the stump. When you plant grass you will have a bunch of mushrooms growing up through your grass which is just as unsightly as the stump. Do yourself a favor and rent a stump grinder. Remove all the wood debris and fill in the hole with dirt then seed or lay sod.

Especially considering there are ~2000 Home Depot stores in the US and 2200 Lowe’s stores in the USA and most rent this equipment for about the same price it really shouldn’t be to hard to actually pay the $150 for the proper tool to accomplish the task with relative ease. Not at all! The title says it all and the description is clear. This is a great method I have used to remove dozens of dead tree stumps this way. It has been years and there is now grass growing where the stumps once were. This is just another option that works for some people . It has saved me Money and time.

Lots of people criticize this video. It is however a great alternative. I still use this method all the time. I'm not going to rent a stump remover every time I lose a tree on my 4 acres of property. This method is not for everyone, but it works for me.

You didn’t “remove” the stump, the key word you used in your video title is remove. By simply cutting it and covering it up isn’t removing it, it’s going to rot, the ground will sink a little etc etc etc

@jeffsolinger5671 I said visually remove. I add a little dirt when it sinks. No big deal. If it's not your thing then it's not your thing. But it is helpful to me and many other people.

Why? Please explain why you would say that? I think that people who criticize this have never tried it.
