You could try a little drop of poppy oil in order to get a better paint flow,...also great for glazing.

I do have a question as to what you use or would recommend in terms of an app/software that will help me turn my photos into clean line drawings to transfer to canvas. There are sooo many choices out there and I really like the way your tutorials help beginners with a clean line drawing to help with the beginning process. Thanks so much for sharing your talent!

As usual, you make this look so simple. Such beautiful realistic work, Michael. I do have a question/comment about your series 1/0 and 1/1 brushes. Both of mine have lost their tip. I don't think I am hard on them but they just didn't seem to hold up for long. Is there a way to recover the points so I can get the kind of strokes that you display? Thanks for making my painting time so rewarding. Eric, from Ontario.

This IS very different and surprisingly effective. I riveted to the comber setting up the neath layers. Intriguing that, for speedwork. Compelled to try that out.

Amazing work as usual.... my question is how long to wait in between layer colors to allow drying and avoid the colors smudging together as we paint over another color.

It's not so much about the tools you use but much rather the skill. You can create realistic paintings/drawings with basic brushes and colors

I love your paintings and techniques. I am learning to apply all of them. It ssems a bit harder with acrylics but still works so well. Question. Do you ship orders for brushes to Europe?

Kindly explain what advantage liquin has over linseed oil. Also For most of my previous works I've been using RAW linseed oil. It seems to work just fine too, thought there sometimes shiny spots or patches of oil that I've noticed on the final painting. Is that something i can look past?

Your brushes seem stiff so you can just use the point my brushes seem soft and bend; do you just hold your brushes very softly or are they stiff?
