Yep. Technically the fourth "lens" I referred to is a mirror but reflects the beam and acts like a lens but has to be cleaned also, that's why I just called it a lens instead of going in-depth.

how about that smoke residue that slowly builds up on the laser tube? I am afraid to clean it.

I just use the wipes that I use on the lens
