Guys, you don't have to define all the parameters manually for each load step of a bolt pretension load! You just shift select them in the tree and then change the preload value (define by condition) and it will work for all the selected items FOR THE CURRENT LOAD STEP. Then you just change the current LS in the analysis settings and repeat those steps. I had a model with too many bolts and it saved me a decent amount of time

ah got it. You need to change values of pre-load or Define By on the DETAILS windows...not into the table. The table doesn't work, the Detail windows does. Great, tnx for you comment mate!

Hello sir, I had given given beam connection in my problem and then in boundary conditions after putting bolt pretensions in scoping method only two options is there beam connection options is not there, how to give bolt pretensions useing beam connection. Hello, you have mistake in your video. The bolt pretension values are applied only for the 1st beam, the rest of the beams are with 0 load but re locked. I wonder if it is possible apply load for all the beam connections at the same time? It will save time. Thank you for the video ♡

why The bolt pretension values are applied only for the 1st beam because it can be needed whole beam pretention 100 N/A. Also, he assign pretention value first beam just only like as you sad
