There's a time for big C Clamps and there's a time for something lighter! I getting the dashpad on the 1965 Buick Riviera glued up, I found I wished I'd had a few more of these things.
Are they just for wood work or are they good for other things too?

That looks like a job for a vacuum pump using an EPDM vacuum press bag.

That would probably work pretty well!
Use some paint stir sticks to even out the pressure

Hard to believe, I didn't have any handy. That did cross my mind about a half hour after getting it clamped though.
