Quick change PVA bag rig | Dave Lane | Carp Fishing
Dave Lane with a very tidy inline lead PVA bag rig that has acquired him plenty of bites over the past autumn and early winter. Once assembled, the rig is very quick to change the PVA bag and hook link. It presents a wafter hookbait beautifully with the bag contents offering a small bait trap.
Dave explains tying the rig in detail and how to fish it for a high degree of success.

It's similar to rig Adam penning came up with long time ago without all the fiddly bits . he calls it the depthcharge . This is Laney's version

Barbel anglers have been using this swivel clip for years and a running backstop as been around since the early eighties so hardly anything new here

nick forward got it from another angler, but his rig has the impact of an inline at the bite but then changes to a helicopter style after fish is hooked.

How does it change to a helicopter style when you hook a fish?

Surely on the cast the lead wants to fly back up the leader towards the rod????

For those new to the sport, all the bits they want you to keep buying are meaningless & won’t catch you any more fish. Notice how detailed watercraft is never a topic? Because they can’t sell you what really matters

Plus old Dave lane has pulled so many stunts, did you know he uses 10oz leads ,he boats them out...this guy has no morals and would endorse anything as long as it paid for his fishing rather than go work like most people

Spot on Tommy. Whilst the marketing works on kids and the foolish, I hope lots understand its watercraft that catches fish. Fortune and stock dictates size of fish caught.

@@emperium6224 try boating out a rig 200yrds on a weedy big pit in big winds and see how far your 4oz lead gets you. You’ll wake up in the morning and they’ll be 100yrds from where you dropped em. Saying he uses 10oz leads all the time is rubbish. Just gotta use the right tools when needed. You sound like someone who just fishes tiny little mud holes.

I hate this. Dave doesn't use this. He has sold out to talk bollox for money as he did for TF gear. I don't blame him as he's looking after his family. Carp fishing is a money based industry.
