Das Messingteil hätte ich ausschließlich mit "Sidol" bearbeitet, dann zerkratzt man die Oberfläche nicht, sie bleibt im Originalzustand.

What is the purpose of a clothes tamper? I am not familiar with that tool.

This rinsed the soapy water out of the laundry.

The laundry came after it was washed with soap in clear water. The lower part has an extinguisher and can be pushed together. The air blast then pushed the soapy water out of the laundry.

Hallo, Wurde das Schleifen bzw. Polieren alles mit der kleinen Dremel gemacht. Ich habe so eine Silberbutterschale und überlege diese Methode zu übernehmen. Danke für die tolle Arbeit

Wenn es nur eine kleine Schale ist, empfehle ich, immer von Hand zu polieren. Mit einem guten Putzmittel. Silber ist relativ weich in der Oberfläche. Eine Versilberung ist schnell wegpoliert und echtes Silber ist auch empfindlich. Maschinelles polieren von Silber benötigt spezielle Polierscheiben, Paste und sehr viel Erfahrung. Wenn du die Schale in ein Bad mit heißem Wasser, Alufolie und Salz gibst, löst das schon die gröbste Schwärzung.

Ein tolles Ergebnis. Ich habe sowas als Kind bei meiner Tante gesehen, das war damals zwar auch schon alt aber in neuwertigem Zustand, weil nie benutzt. Dein Ergebnis sieht sogar besser aus, als neu.👍👍👍👍👍

Throw a coat of clear paint on that brass, or you'll be polishing that tamper every weekend.
