Thank you so much. Love you show how to open AND close it. I had a slightly different kit. I didn't notice that some screws are different lengths...that's why you have the chart on which screws go where...I just looked at you guys put longer or shorter screws in correct slot, also forgot to power off my phone. Still was able to get new battery in and worked right away. You guys rock!

In the picture for your kit, I don't see the tweezers, blue scewdriver, prybar, screenholder or screw chart. What, exactly, is included in the kit and does it include EVERYTHING shown in this video? Thanks.

A good guide but no mention of removing old adhesive or reapplying a new adhesive strip between the screen and the body. The waterproofing isn't there on an iPhone 7 but I thought the screen adhesive gave it a degree of water resistance? O.K. this requires detaching the screen but this is only a couple more screws and connectors. Don't you guys think it's worth it?

Don’t really need the adhesive , but one method is to cut the plastic sheet the adhesive comes with then apple one side .

Home button stopped working after the battery replacement? Did anyone have same problem or just me? I followed exactly the same process of replacing the battery.

Hi Elias! We always welcome the opportunity to improve our instructional videos. So far none of our users have expressed concerns around the process outlined in this video. If you can share some details about the steps you believe are missing, perhaps we can use them to improve the guide?

@@TechXSAustraliaOfficial OK sure. You cannot open the cover without an important force, which may lead to cut the screen cable (what this happened with my friend where he didn't believe me what it should). So we should preheat with a hairdryer with conical form (to avoid preheat too much the other components). this needs 7 to 10 minutes. Where the professional heater you need around one minute or 2. Because the cover is sealed with some type of glue.

@@EliasDaoud Thanks for raising these concerns Elias. Our products all include access to our great Support Technicians who are ready to answer any questions our users may run into that our installation guides don't already address. As you have suggested, sometimes the adhesive seal around the screen sets harder than usual making the screen hard to get up with the process shown in the video. In this case, our Support Techs generally have two suggestions they offer. The first is to heat the edges of the frame (using a hairdryer or something similar) to loosen the hold of the adhesive, as you have suggested. The second suggestion is to use the opening process shown in our iPhone X battery guide (techxs.com.au/pages/iphone-x-battery-repair-guide). Luckily, the metal pry tool used to open the screen in this guide is already included in the Precision Toolkit included with all of our Repair Kits, so you can easily opt to use this opening method with the tools you will have on hand. We hope this helps!
