I did have the opportunity to try Moshi and I found it to be horrible. It cuts you off. It talks over top of you. It needs a lot of work.

I've never gotten it to change it's voice, despite seeing it in the company demo. Has anyone else?

I was able to make him whisper or be afraid as you want, but you must tell him in the beginning, not after you talk to him. For example, when he says to you at the beginning, “Hello, what’s the news?” directly tell him, “Make your voice whisper because my brother is sleeping,” and he will whisper. 😊

So by ‘destroyed’ you mean ‘makes iterative improvements on’?

I am unsubscribing because of the clickbait. You remind me of a large corporation that cares very little for transparency with users and only cares about volume and subscribers. Seriously, get it together.

When I find a channel with clickbait, I scroll through recommendations while pausing the video I clicked, until I find another video suggested by that channel, then I click on the three little dots and select "Don't recommend channel". After doing so for this channel, my recommendation feed will be much improved.

This invention will be very useful for dealing with the “Kens ans Karens.” You know “the complainers who never satisfied with anything.”

Lmfao. Moshi is a literal toddler you can easily pick a fight with, constantly interrupts, and gets into conversation loops like nobody’s business. You want proof gpt-4o is better? Have a voice conversation with ChatGPT on your phone and tell it you’re going to have it talk to another AI. Then fire Moshi up. The difference is night and day. Moshi struggles to understand almost everything

I tried this and this is the most annoying AI voice ever. Moreover after a couple of interactions it starts repeating itself. Do you need to pay attention to make this voice likeable and not that irritating. My impression is that they try to make the AI sound like a typical stereotypical science fiction AI. Still they are pioneering a great progress. But as for but as for now it's just the height and a technical demo

I tried Moshi. It was hilarious. It was a) dumb as f*ck. and b) couldn't do anything that it said it could. Moshi "I can do all these XYZ voices and cool stuff" Me: "Do a xyz voice" Moshi "I don't know how to do that" Me: "You just said you could do that!" Moshi: "I don't know how to do that". And this went on for sometime before I realized this was complete BS. It had one voice and it couldn't do anything with it and further -- it didn't know anything about anything useful. At all. it was nonsense. Cool interface though.
