Force Healing was a lost art, invented in the old republic, lost to time...until Rey pulled it out of her ass. And Kolto tanks were the predecessor to Bacta. Wasn't till Disney came that Bacta was the blood of space jesus himself. Only reason Qui is still dead, much like Mace Windu is because they're dudes, and Maul was grandfathered in from Clone Wars.

I love Qui-Gon and Anakin's relationship in this. It's like a boy and his favourite grandfather. Not that that relationship is going to be tested anytime soon when the grandfather finds out his grandson has been up to no good...

Among Chiss they refer to each other by that full name, but for other species interactions who might have trouble understanding the concept, they shorten it to the last letter of their suffix, their given name, and the first letter of their suffix - in this case Thrawn.
