Upper deck reconfiguring platinum this year is them trying to build it more like how optic/prizm have their sets, from what I understood we’ll be getting 12 cards in a pack, 10 base cards, 1 parallel and 1 insert (optic also has a 200/100 checklist)

Hey Zeeree! I was setup at the expo and probably spoke to you at some point. Who knows.... Anyway, I totally agree with moving for the bigger card with replaceable ones. I got the matthews cup rpa and gave up a matthews yg bgs 10, crosby yg 9.5, ovie yg 9.5 and cash. Worth every penny. Nice pickup on the drai!!!!

LOL the Randy part was just too good, all these legends and "Randy" haha, love trailer park boys and love the cards Zeeree! Kerby Dach is a real good one to get on and alot of buyers on him, love the cards

This was my first expo, had a blast. The wallet, not so much.

One of my goals is to eventually make it to the Expo... seems like the best show in terms of hockey. Best one I've been to so far is the Western Canada show in Langley BC (2 hours north of me)

Wohoo cant wait for Vancouver expo this weekend. Def not as big as this one but still gonna be fun. Got a couple cards im gonna try to move; Bo Horvat future watch patch auto and carey price 1/1 clear cut

My roommate had 3 cards graded by Beckett and all of them had chips/ cracks in the slabs. He had them re-slab the rarest one and it happened again. So for a while there this summer they had some issues going on with slabbing

For getting cards graded (in Canada) who would you recommend out of psa or Beckett? Cards would be a mixture of young guns, fwa, and a Gretzky rookie card

Years ago when I was younger and lived in Ottawa, I had shots with Randy and Lahey downtown Ottawa on Canada Day, they were barhopping around the market down there

Totally agree. It's always been my favorite. I collect the rookie base auto set every year as well as load up on boxes to stash. I'm sitting on a ton of great platinum and its really the only thing I collect. Glad to see that it's getting more popular. One of these days I may open a box of the 15/16 or 16/17 I've been sitting on.

I really need to go to this one year, all show I go to never or rarely have hockey cards.

My Friday Was Grading A Stack Of Cards, And I Picked Up A Few Kaprizov Rookies And A Jason Robertson. Lol Graded More On The Sunday Including The Kaprizovs And Robertson I Picked Up On That Friday. That's Where I Spent My Money, Also Bought My Nephew A Few Items As He's Collecting Panini Soccer Stickers And Fornite.

I'll never understand why hockey fans don't like the shiny stuff it's mind boggling, most of my most expensive soccer cards are the shiny shit and their absolutely stunning.
