There's no way GTA vr isn't coming, Rockstar I believe would silently cancel it but I think Meta would either just say something at this point or just keep throwing money at it until something comes out

Long term Quest 1 user. I’m with ya, buddy. It’s time for me to upgrade, I guess.

I just upgraded from the quest 2 which I had for about a year or so to the quest 3 about a week or so ago and love the upgrade the only downside is I got the 128 instead of the 512 and personally I think the base storage should have been 256

10mm for the Surreal Touch is totally unacceptable. Why would they release something this inaccurate? 1mm is the minimum here and sub 1mm is the goal.

Those 3rd party apple vis controllers--if they're less pricey than base stations + other controllers, then you're likely to have a market for them outside of the apple vis due to how many people who have wanted to get their hands on the quest pro controllers for headsets that don't have great controllers, or have controllers that lack needed buttons for pcvr games. I hope they're worth it and not just 3rd party shit.

Is it out on OTA or do you still have to go through the Meta website? I’m not seeing it come through.

Finally controllers for vision pro, to play what though.... 😅, I will wait a little longer before thinking of selling it, so far it's just an incredible beautiful useless peace of tech with almost 0 apps and games that uses it for real. Thanks for the video.

Do you know if this fixes the port debris alert or the disconnection of the Quest 3????

I hope they improved the eye closing correctly with the quest pro's eye tracking. It was a problem for me that when laying down my eyes look down as well to be able to talk to people and my blinking would just break. Also, eye tracking on the quest pro tends to not detect your eyes fully closed when they are.

Anyone been able to update with the software update tool? I ran it and am still on v66 on my quest 3. I thought this would be a way around their vague you'll-get-it-when-you-get-it update rollouts since it's still says no updates available when I checked in the headset

When did v67 launch? today? because i tried yesterday through the update tool and it just put v66 on. I did have 67 through the PTS but had issues. and my headset overheated when doing an update and wiped all my data lol. so had to start fresh. So annoying.

Anyone else also facing the issue of "water debris" error in Quest 3 while plug and play ? Because i use magnetic pin charger and ports are clean still getting error every 20 min @mysticle can you try on your end also I saw some post on community that have same problem since V64

I have a q2, prob will get a q3 but I still use my q1 for outside the pad, and I am surprised how many apps are still working as long as they don't brick it, its working fine. plz make segment about q2/3 addons that let you work on your quest in sunny areas

@@tapafon_red root would be so much fun The day we get root on the quest one is the day mobile vr will forever change once we can build our own android to the quest we can start seeing true multitasking and google/apk flat apps. I really love the vision pro effect, meta is just showering us with ui "gifts" that should have been in there years ago, and now they are rushing this stuff out the door. Its good for all of us.

Quest really needs some of the games they showed off (AoT, GTA, etc.) and lots more... I keep putting off buying a Quest 3 because I have a PC and most of the games I want to play (system sellers) are available on Steam anyway, and probably better. Also most of the standalone stuff is just one more thing between a PC and the lenses. At least it's wireless tho.

I don't know there are a few quest exclusives. I tend to get games on quest when they are exclusives, Batman / RE4, (App lab etc) or use a special feature only the quest can do like hand tracking or AR like Demeo. Otherwise I agree with you, you can just get the PCVR steam version of the same game and play that on quest.

In Australia and still can't access horizon world's. I'm sure sooner or later it will be available but as of now it's still not and with how long meta take I don't expect it to be available for months

I’m one of the first people to get the quest 3 don’t mind the second one

Can v67 remember multiple scanned rooms yet? That really needs to be fixed. Currently, every time I switch rooms, the entire room needs to be re-scanned, even though I had saved and named it. Is there something I’m doing wrong, or this just isn’t fixed yet?

There are a lot of top high ranking players with a Quest 3 if you take a look at BeatLeader/ScoreSaber, so I'd say it's not as bad as most people said it was when it launched. In my experience upgrading from a Quest 2 to a 3 very recently it's fine, but in some scenarios it's worse than the Quest 2. I've noticed some issues and limitations in tracking at first (it's easier to oclude the IR lights of the controllers for example), but after some weeks of playing I'm having no more problems really (only skill issue ones lol), so I think you'll instinctively get used to it and learn the appropriate technique.

@@Raptorialand You can see on the scores (on BL/SS) what headset and controllers people use, I don't think that many people use the pro controllers, also I've read they sometimes drift away. The Quest 3 ones are good enough, so I'd say go for it and give it some practice time to get used to them. I had the same doubts and I don't really regret the upgrade, pretty much everything else is amazing. Edit: Also, disabling hand tracking sometimes tends to improve controller tracking stability on fast paced movement, since they started doing mixed tracking on the Q3.

We also got some news on a new Bendy VR game, it’s not confirmed, but wouldn’t that be cool?

…now that I think about it, maybe he only got striked because he charged money for his mods. So if Team Beef made a free VR mod, it could slip through. But I am not sure that they will risk it.

GTA SA VR was most-likely cancelled. The help message being deleted was likely just because the help person (who doesn't have access to the game), guessing that it was still in development since it wasn't publicly cancelled, and the company want people to forget the game. SA while old, wouldn't be able to be rendered in the Quest headsets, as they would need all the people, car physics, along with the city to be rendered and working perfectly. I want this game, but I've given up hope long ago, and the game was announced before they even thought of how it would work, as they wanted to promote the metaverse to gamers.
