What I love about Nelson is how well he understands shifts and his chemistry with McGlinchey on combo blocks is like a psychic connection if I was a team with 2 high 1st rounders I would literally draft the left side of the ND OL. Nelson puts his man on the ground he is so strong once he gets his hands on the defender its freaking over with. I argued with someone about Nelson vs other OL and so I watched this and a game and changed my mind this dude is Nasty.

VinnyC1323 i think kenyan drake actually reads blocks better than ajayi did. Ajayi was more skilled for sure but drake reads blocks very well and thats a reason hes had so many huge runs in such little time.

Westcoast 57257 well. I can tell you this. If Hoyer has a good season or our offensive line doesn't fix the run blocking issue then I can't see them trading picks to draft a QB. You need to run the ball to make this offense really work. Personally I don't see it happening unless there is one Shanahan really likes one to the point he would want to trade up to draft one

Gold49ersFan True, but I just can't see us not adding a QB by the start of next year. Whether that's Cousins, Garropalo or via the draft I'm 100% sure a QB will be added. Who knows, this QB class atleast on the surface looks to be the best in years that we might be able to get a good QB option in the 2nd. If that's the case, I want Harold Landry, Derwin James, Ronnie Harrison, Connor Williams or Quentin Nelson in the 1st, depending on where we're picking.

nicholas bockenstedt I'm not really a huge fan of Garnett. Never really understood the point because Garnett fits more of a power blocking scheme way more than a ZBS. But then again Baalke didn't know what scheme fit was

I don't know how well his footwork in pass protect or how well he will anchor (most guards don't do either extreamly well) but this dude is strong and nasty in the run game. Reminds me of a Richie Ingcognito a lil bit more athletic!

I would love to see him drafted to the phins, would really be awesome

Most analyst believe Dallas should be targeting defensive players for the upcoming draft. With the exception of Martin, Frederick and Smith, the offensive line has lost a huge step in protecting the QB. Prescott is far from being an elite player this early in his career, but given his physical ability and toughness he will need players like Q. Nelson to help solidify his play in 2018. Just look at this years play from Prescott compared to last years play, no protection. He came really close to being an ugly stain on the AT&T Stadium turf. Look to the 2 - 3 rounds to address the defensive line.

Not as good of a prospect as Zach Martin was but I do like this dude. Easy first round plug and play kinda guy!

I hope Bengals gets him and if they draft either Billy Price or Mason Cole and sign couple vets on OL Marvin steps down and hopefully move to GM bring Hue back as the OC whoever is the HC hopefully play rookies and no doubt Bengals OL will be better if Mike has the balls enough to sign different vets on OL

I like him but he's always on the ground and several times you can see him holding outside the numbers. He's got to learn to keep his feet and stay more balanced. He is a solid run/ pass blocker either way.

He's on the ground so much, because he's busy pancaking his opponents, taking them out of the play. It's not like he's falling to the ground because he's losing his blocks.

was a horrible draft for offensive lineman not a single OL was picked in top 15... forest lamp is a project from western kentucky... had a guard go at pick 5 3 years ago and 2 guards go before 32nd pick the year after. good data though dude you really know your shit.
