I saw Pulp Fiction first so I always saw Reservoir Dogs as the inferior one, but the older I get, I think the simplicity actually works even BETTER for that film. One story, all interconnected characters and the twist in the middle effecting both the beginning AND the end. It’s just genius, tie between that and Pulp Fiction for me, I love both 😎💯

Every intro is amazing, but my personal favourite is the one from The Hateful Eight. The beautiful tho kinda scarry snowy nature, the music of Ennio Morricone, it’s just perfect!

Don X the first half is basically what the whole film should have been. The second it too polished. The film is supposed to be like a low budget B-Movie, hence being part of a Grindhouse double feature. Tarantino is unable to write bad dialogue, which for the type of film Death Proof is supposed to be doesn’t work in his favor. And the fact they quit using the scratched up film during the second half of the movie takes away from the Grindhouse look the film is supposed to have. It is the weakest film he’s made but it’s not terrible. I’m not a huge fan of Jackie Brown, but I like it more than Death Proof.

Pulp Fiction makes think of Star Wars or Rocky. So confident in what you're about to see next if that makes sense.

I like the Death Proof one a lot.

It's definitely the best, visually. That shot of the cross was amazing.

My favorites are Django, Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, and his best, Jackie Brown. The opening of that film just really draws me in, and I love that song in the intro.

The Kill Bill 2 credits featured here are actually the second end credits, with the original song replaced by another (which wasn't released until 13 years after the film).

@@RobinaB530 deathproof has always felt like something you either hate or like. i like it. dont love it. benefits from a lot of booze but even then theres still way too much dialogue. theres a fan edit somewhere on KZread which is half as long and twice as good

I love a lot of these are just music and text over black and they’re still somehow some of the most awesome credits ever. I also love how Kill Bill begins with a Klingon proverb. Though why doesn’t her revenge lost include the heads at Warner Bros who green lit Batman and Robin? For me, the best credits are from Pulp Fiction, Inglorious Basterds and Kill Bill Vol. 2

@@bryanscheeler yes, Co-Produced, my fault lol. I suppose you're right that he doesn't own it as one of his own movies but his involvement with it makes it seem like he should. He Co-Produced and he acted in it too. There's also 2 Easter eggs in there from Death Proof. 1.Radio dj dedicates a song to Jungle Julia due to her passing and 2.The blonde nurse and the doctor at the hospital were the same ones from death proof after the stuntman mike crash so it feels wrong to have one without the other.
