This is one of those very rare albums that could be released in 2023 and if you didn't KNOW it was written 35 years ago, you would never guess it! An absolute Metal masterpiece! 🤘

I never tire of listening to Queensryche's music, especially the early work, during the 1980s. I saw them open for KISS in 1985 and was blown away! Since then, they've always been one of my favorites. I had the honer of meeting Geoff Tate, Parker Lungren and Scott Rockenfield at the Hard Rock Cafe in Seattle in 2011, before all the shit hit the fan, and was impressed with what super cool people they all are. One of the best experiences of my life!

Among all the great songs on Operation Mindcrime this is probably my favourite, even ahead of Eyes of a Stranger. Love how the intensity in the singing grows and how the whole song is a slowly building crescendo to the final chorus and then it finishes off with those fantastic last 20 seconds.

I went to a Metallica and Justice for All concert back in the late 80's and Queensryche opened for them. I had no idea how awesome they were so I wasn't listening and bitching the whole time to get Metallica started. Yeah, I'm a dumb ass.

Saw the Ryche in '95 with Type O Negative opening up. Album back then was Promised Land. Must agree that Operation Mindcrime and Mindcrime 2 would make a helluva opera or even a movie!!!!!

I was already riding around in my Fiero (Bruh....) listening to "Rage For Order"when "Op:M/C" was released. I bought it before a two-hour roadtrip upstate, popped it in the player, spared a joint and spent the best two hours of my life driving high. (I don't recommend driving high now. That was 80s weed).

At there, I had heard another voice in heaven that had said: Leave her my people so that you will not share to her sins and so that you will not receive her plagues and since they have been piled up to as high as heaven, God has remembered her sins and thus share back to her what she had shared and share double back to her about what she had shared. Pour her a double portion using her own cup. Share to her as much torment and grief about the glory and luxury that she had shared about herself because in her heart she boasts: I sit throned as queen and I am not a widow and I will never mourn.
