Yeah, but Rockenfield it seems like Rockenfield isn't playing anymore. LaTorre did all the drums on Queensryche's newest album. I saw a video of Tate's from just a few months ago when he was touring Europe. It seemed like there were tracks for background vocals since only one guy had a mic, but you could tell he was singing live and sounded pretty darned good.
@themadmattster9647
4 жыл бұрын
@@MichaelHolmgaard agreed. What he needs now is a good producer. Sascha Paeth knows how to produce metal voices. Dump Jason Slater and Kelly Gray, they did nothing but drag Tate and Queensryche down, then again that could be at Tate's behest. Degarmo is doing that acoustic project with his daughter and flying planes, but we could hope he gets bored and contacts Tate. I think an original band reunion would be good too. LaTorre is pretty good too though, I prefer the albums with him over anything else since Hear in the Now Frontier, but if we could get a reunion of Tate and Degarmo or even the whole band it would be cool to see a final round

vinnie6576 My comment from 7yrs ago... vinnie6576 7 years ago (edited) How good is DeGarmo?? He can change guitars in the middle of a solo and never miss a note!! I believe he does 4 times...all in a 9 second span from 3:22 to 3:31. Now that is just pure talent folks...or poor editing of this video!! Either way, this is by far the best live version of TLWB I've ever heard. Geoff Tate at his finest. DeGarmo...absolutely magnificent. Rockenfield...simply awesome!! As for Jackson and Wilton...they are a great supporting cast!!

The backing vocals here are vastly superior to the Tokyo performance. I do like raw and gritty performances, but this song needs a somewhat more polished sound, and this version nails it. Beside, Scott sometimes drags. Not that noticeable, but fairly obvious for a drummer.

@themadmattster9647

The backing vocals here are vastly superior to the Tokyo performance. I do like raw and gritty performances, but this song needs a somewhat more polished sound, and this version nails it. Beside, Scott sometimes drags. Not that noticeable, but fairly obvious for a drummer.
